  • I received this:

Avoid the Christmas rush. Coles.com.au can deliver your supermarket shopping and liquor at a time that suits you. It's so easy - and for a limited time, delivery is free!

Available for 4 hour delivery windows from Tuesday 2nd until Saturday 6th December 2008 across Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast & Hunter Valley.

  • I got one that said that, and another that said this:
"Available for 4 hour delivery windows from Tuesday 2nd until Saturday 6th December 2008 across Melbourne, Geelong & surrounding suburbs."

Semi-logged on based on my post code and seems it works for Sydney. (Shows $0.00 for four-hour slots.) Will try this service! :)

  • It works for other parts of NSW too, but the 4 hour delivery timeslots are quickly filling up in some areas. I just put in my first order - I've been put off in the past by the delivery cost.

  • does it include Qld?

  • Yep brizziebabe, I just checked then
I live in Nundah and checked the 4hr delivery section and price is $0.00
have wanted to give the service a whirl for a while.. so guys get in while you can. Those free delivery slots will go pretty quick methinks!

    thanks op

  • They still don't do the delivery service for WA. :(

  • oh yes.. just got an email from them.. it's free delivery for brisbane and gold coast.

  • hmm..i find their prices for everyday items are more expensive than my local coles..

  • I placed an order with Coles Online, expecting that the prices would be the same as Coles supermarkets. WRONG! For example, their Coles brand 500mg butter blend is some 41c more expensive on-line vs at the supermarket. (ordinary prices, not on special either way) I never pay convenience store prices for normal shopping, and I'm not going to start doing it regularly if that is the way they are going to treat (rip off) their on-line purchases.

Also, their on-line system has a much smaller range than personal shopping (to be expected).

  • My wife managed to get one of the last "slots" for free delivery to our suburb in Brisbane.
She's ordered only "specials" as a test of the service, to be delivered on Friday evening.

    Thanks CreepsDude.
