Fly Learner is an online platform that connects students and parents with highly qualified tutors (all tutors are current primary or high school teachers) from around Australia.

What is Fly Learner?

Fly Learner is a marketplace where students and parents can find the perfect tutor for their individual needs! All tutors on our platform must be qualified teachers and must be currently accredited in an Australian state or territory. This means that we don't allow recently graduated students or university students to provide tutoring to our students as we are laser focused on providing the best service possible. Simply put, parents can be absolutely satisfied that their children are receiving the best quality tuition available from the educators that deliver the curriculum every day in the classroom!

As a marketplace, our tutors determine their own hourly rates and students can leave feedback after a lesson is complete so that others can make informed decisions when they are looking for their own tutor!

Students and Parents are not obligated to book ongoing tutoring sessions and can simply undertake one lesson if that is all that is required.

What subjects are offered?

Fly Learner has tutors available for all subjects from primary school to high school.

Some of our tutors are specialised and experienced with children with special needs or learning difficulties.

Is tutoring offered online or in-person?

Our tutors offer tutoring both online and in-person. You can review tutor availability by reviewing a tutors profile and/or messaging a tutor on the Fly Learner platform.

What is the fine print?

This coupon is for one time use only and the maximum checkout amount is $150. This offer expires 31 January 2024.

    Hi jv,

    The prices are set by our tutors so the price range varies.

    Generally, our tutors set their rates between $50-$150 per hour.

    Hi ujwols,

    Fly Learner is a marketplace that connects student/parents with qualified teachers.

    Unfortunately, we are not able to offer 50% discounts for large bookings as our tutors set their own prices and this would negatively impact their earning potential.

    The 50% discount for one lesson is designed to allow students and parents to see whether they like a particular tutor and book in more lessons should they desire.

    One of our other benefits is that students and parents are not obligated to book in multiple lessons - you can simply book in one lesson if that is all that is required!

    Fly Learner screens and interviews all tutors before they are accepted onto the platform. We have confidence in the ability of our tutors to deliver quality tuition.

    The senior tutors available on Fly Learner are HSC and VCE markers and have extensive experience in the classroom.

    Whether a student or parent chooses to book in a session with a tutor is entirely up to them!

  I wouldn't trust the ratings on this site.

  The only ones with ratings are 5/5. Obviously fake.

  Most have no ratings at all, so I suspect they have been removed.

    Definitely some odd things with this rep…their first post was upvoted by a single user, who, coincidentally, joined the site on the same day it was posted, and was never heard from again…be interesting to see if anyone besides the upvote bots think this is a good deal.

    The ratings on Fly Learner are not fake.

    After each tutoring lesson, our students and parents are prompted to leave their tutor feedback. They are able to customise their own message or utilise the default response. Fly Learner has been operating for 2 years and the feedback we have received from our parents and students has been exceptional.

  Thanks for sharing rep.

  As a parent of a child with special needs, this does look interesting. The hourly rates look reasonable and the 50% off is enough to entice me to give it a try even though it is only a single use code.

  Suggestion: Please add search by location functionality.

    We run promotions for our existing customers all the time, so I am sure you will see some great deals throughout the year.

    The promotion that we are running here on OzBargain is specifically to entice our new customers to jump on board and see if they can connect with a tutor that works for them / their child.

    Unlike other tutoring companies, we don't lock you in to multiple lessons and you can simply book one lesson at a time if that's what you're after.
