Decent cashback at BWS from ShopBack. Starts today at 4pm AEDT.
Been a while since they had a decent cashback, hopefully Vintage Cellars, Liquorland and First Choice follow suit.
Special notes for cashback tracking:
- Extension tracking does not work for BWS, please click through from ShopBack to ensure that your Cashback is tracked.
- Transactions paid using WOW Rewards or Woolworths Dollars are not eligible for Cashback.
$30 for referrer, $10 for referee after referee qualifies.
Qualifying requirements for referee: 1. Made a minimum $20 online purchase (below exclusions apply), 2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online, 3. Added banking details to account.
Users will need to fulfil the referral criteria within 180 days from referee's sign-up date to unlock cashback.

Anyone else having issues with the BWS website showing Clearance items with big discounts, but when you change stores to one nearby with stock, the price jacks up to RRP?
Clearance stock is store specific. So the same product can be on clearance at one store but not another. It is probably due to how old the stock is or how much is left in inventory.
Not sure why many people are stating this is damaging to bws and shopback… The rep is very helpful and this is the only alcohol store offering cashback at this point with fcl/liquorland/vintage cellars not offering anything.

The rep might be helpful here, but how many Shopback users are on the app but not on Ozbargain. Plus having to chase up the missing cashback brings the onus onto the customer for something that Shopback as the supplier is spruiking as automatic.
Yeah I agree it's not ideal. But if people don't like it then they don't need to use it for bws purchases.
That being said the only other options at present as far as I know is no cashback on liquor purchases because the other retailers stopped offering cashback. So nothing is really lost by using shopback for bws purchases and for me they have always come good in the end
Are you sure rep is helpful? The last round asked me to send him a DM, which was never replied to.
From personal experience yes I am sure. Has helped on a couple of occasions and sorted stuff for me. Sometimes it took time but I was happy to be patient. To date everything that I am owed has been paid.
Of course I'd prefer fast, hassle free tracking and quick payments. But I'd also prefer to get cashback on my purchases so I'm happy to keep using shopback/bws.

All orders tracked perfectly, base and westpac bonus.
Purchased through app with Westpac card and tracking came through this morning for both 22% and 8%.

Used the ShopBack app on my (Android) phone and it tracked after 12 hours by the looks of it.
Tracked for me 6.40am this morning. Used Safari on MacOS.
So about 14hrs.
Tracked for me too - used the Shopback app into the BWS website on Android.
Tracked, Chrome Web Browser with extention.
Tracked as of 5:51AM (22% + 8%)
Got my tracking notice 9 hours after placing order. Used Chrome on Windows, clicked through from Shopback's website. Also have the browser extension.
I always choose click & collect and wait until cashback tracks before collecting.
I have had 8 BWS shopbacks rejected since the start. Don't know how many haven't tracked as I don't pay much attention.
Tracked at 1.65% + 8%. Query lodged.
Shopback has manually adjusted the rate to 22%. Reason being bws recorded my transaction at 3.59pm.it is weird since I made sure it was 4pm and double checked that the 22% rate was on. In addition, my cashback was tracked at 4pm on shopback. Anyhow, thanks shopback and gotyourback for the help.
Still no tracking. Looks like I’ll have to cancel the hemp IPA
