Clicking through from Google gives $140.39, or $133 with code "ggreo3f42au"

    Just tested, yep $133.37 shipped

    • And I think that one comes with a solar panel. I can't see the images on the link but I am doing it based off the Google Shopping feature. Let me know if I got anything wrong.

Yeah saw that option as well but my link doesn't come with the solar panel

        • Ohh. The one through Google says it comes with a solar panel but it isn't mentioned anywhere on the Reolink Website. https://imgur.com/a/TaN4ipy

@NotReallyaMoneySaver: Don't confuse a google error with this deal post. This deal doesn't come with a solar panel, nor does it say it does, hence my neg

            • @spackbace: In the comparison page, it mentions a solar panel but it never mentions a solar panel elsewhere. Isn't that unusual. So either the comparison page or the What's in a box made a mistake. My guess is they reused the What's in the box contents from the one you mentioned.

              https://imgur.com/a/TaN4ipy

      • Down the page there's a "What's in the Box", there's no mention of the solar panel there..

        • Ahh yeah I see now. The google shopping link says it comes with a solar panel but it is referring to the post made by dealbeast, coming with a camera and solar panel. The one @spackbace mentioned was just the camera alone with no solar panel.

    • Why the neg though? The one you linked to came with no solar panel while the one linked in the Ozbargain post does come with a solar panel. It's only $9 extra for a solar panel.

      • Are you sure the linked deal comes with a solar panel? According to the webpage, the panel is $49 extra.

Based on the comparison page where the prices do match with both spackbase and dealbeat's prices, there is a solar panel. I am now confused whether there is one or not.

      • The OP, dealbest, one, there's no mention of the solar panel in the "What's in the Box" either…

It doesn't say there is a solar panel but in the comparison page, it mentions there is. Now I am confused whether there is a solar panel or not.

          • @NotReallyaMoneySaver: Yeh, you're right, on the drop down box in the comparison page you can select the camera only at the cheaper price, or with solar panel at the OP's price…

They sure know how to confuse people, lol

@FLICKIT: I was really second guessing myself haha. $9 extra for a solar panel doesn't seem bad especially when it is retailing for $49. Still weird that OP didn't mention the solar panel at all considering that would be a far better deal than @spackbace's deal mentioned.

              • @NotReallyaMoneySaver: Unless the post has been revised. It's the second bullet point under features?

                • +1

@turna: It hasn't been revised. However battery/solar powered could mean anything. It could mean that the camera has the ability to be powered by solar however it doesn't come with one and you have to pay for one. It's open for interpretation.

                  • @NotReallyaMoneySaver: If you add the OPs deal to cart, it specifically says "Argus PT Lite (White) + Solar Panel (White)".

Nothing about the rest of the deal/web page mentions it properly until that point.

              • @NotReallyaMoneySaver: Thank you for clarifying. This model contains a solar panel.

Hi dealbest, any idea when Reolink ColourX cams will be available in Aus?

    • Thank you for your interest in our product. Please click on "Notify Me" on our website, and our newsletter will notify you when these cameras become available.

  • Does this definitely do FTP? Here says no: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020081034-H…

According to Home Assistant community, battery powered Reolink cameras don't have any web server function.

Really unfortunate since would be great for a remote camera to integrate into home assistant.

      • It's not really surprising - the additional power demands of maintaining a constant web connection would make the battery life terrible.
