    I don't see this as a good deal when the AFL season runs 7-8 months of the year and you probably just cancel it after the seasons over (or your teams gets knocked out) and save the $25 per month. Also time value of money.

      I mean, 7 months x $35 Kayo Basic plan (what comes with the membership) = $245

      If you just need one screen, then I guess you'll save some cash. The Kayo One plan, 7 months x $25 = $175

      Issues with me. I have an active Kayo One subscription. In theory you have to upgrade to Kayo Basic and then apply the voucher code. However, there appears to be a glitch for me where the option to upgrade doesn't appear in my account. I've contacted them about it.

        Well I decided to grab a Freo membership.. at $250 it is bascially $10 per race… given a 2 hour race, plus quali.. I think the value is there.. as others have said… need the on demand/replays… of course we have to deal with the very one eyed british commentators but hey.. you can't have everything.

            @serpserpserp: because odds get suspended as soon as something big in real time happens, if you have a quick stream where the delay is only 1-2 seconds like on free to air it's easy to cash out before they suspend markets

      The circumstances in which that would effect you seem pretty rare .

      I had noticed a slight delay when having same NRL game open on channel 9 and Kayo on different TVs. Or having the same feed on in 2 rooms of the house through Kayo it was never perfectly in sync. But its a few seconds and only something you can notice in that situation. Just mute one TV and the sound isnt an issue.

        As I work abroad, I had to VPN to Kayo and it was a f'ing nightmare. I need a better solution and the quality was horrible and constantly getting blocked from being abroad.

      I did it just for the F1, watching footy FTA was ok for me. I just couldn't deal with the stress of buffering as the lights were about to go out or the stream would crash and id load it back up and see the lead had changed

      I’m taking it as yes as this deal gives you a voucher code for 12 months of the current Kayo Basic package which will convert to the new basic package that includes 4K.

      I’m a Kayo Basic customer. What does this mean for me?

      Existing Kayo Basic customers will have a price increase from $30 per month to $35 per month on their next billing date from 14 February 2024.
      Kayo Basic customers will experience Kayo in 4K* in March 2024.

      I’m concerned about this wording though:

      What content will be in 4K on Kayo?

      Across 2024, more than 1,000 hours of 4K* content will be available on Kayo Basic including NRL, AFL, Formula 1, Cricket. More specific information will be available closer to launch

      Does mentioning 1,000 hours of content being available imply that it will only be 4K replays, and not live?

          $25 plan is already 1 screen and has been for a while - they actively enforce it too so you'll only get about 10-15 seconds before it stops if you run two at once.

          $30 plan is 2 screens but is going up to $35.

    Got the lions one as the next best deal.
    Anyone know when the coupon code for kayo is sent out from the club/ticketmaster? I'll apply it next month, get the maximum use for the sports I'm actually interested in (F1 + MotoGP)

    edit: Any idea how to cancel the auto renew on the loyal lions membership?

    edit 2: Coupon arrived in about 1 hour. so all good.

    to cancel autorenew you have to email the club to turn it off. its in the conditions.
