…& ever wondered why strawberry flavoured foods are the perfect colour? That’s because of Carmine (yes, check the ingredients list, you would see it there). Carmine is made by boiling and grinding up Cochineal beetles and is added in most foods because of the colour it adds including Doritos & Cheetos chips, Yoplait & other yoghurt variteties etc.

Seems like it's a more natural way to colour food. Some people reckon it's better for the environment too. I'll be sure to look out for it now.
In the old days they used every part of the animal, it was good for the environment and sustainability, what exactly is wrong with this? Also a beetle feels less pain than a cow, do we only want to kill and eat cute animals? Sugar gets purified and whitened with cow bone char, I'm currently sitting on the ripped off skin of a cow (leather chair).
is that added protein content?
The original owner was unhappy with the direction the company was going so he took it back over. It's certainly as good as it used to be now.
This stuff is amazing. So easy to eat a whole tub in a single sitting.

I slightly prefer Gippsland, but Tamar is very good 👍
Has decent fat content so nice and creamy. Many dairy products seem to have low fat content and sell the cream separately. Demand for low fat milk has fallen over the years, previously some was removed and used for butter and cream with no reduction to the cost of low fat milk.
Love the tamar greek yoghurt.
