The Wanderer Single High Premium Air Bed Queen seems like a good deal. Of the 43 reviews, 39 are 4 and 5 star. The staff member gave me a heads up and related that it was advisable to blow up the mattress fully a couple of hours before use, and then again before actual use. Has to do with the material needing to stretch as its been compacted in the box. I guess they have had people returning the item thinking it didn't function probably.

I was told that returns was accepted, but only if unopened as it's a clearance item.

I having tried it yet, so hope it's a worthwhile buy.

    If you want a cheapie check out Anaconda:
    https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/sleeping/airbe…

    Single = $20
    Twin & Double & Queen = $30

    • Cheapies are good for when you don't want to sleep on the ground immediately.

  • Keen to know if anyone has used one of these, the wife is over the cheap air beds, so need something better, trying to avoid dropping $400 for the really good 4x4 beds (unless it’s really worth it)

      I have the queen size one and use it for guests or when i'm staying at my parents house in the living room.
      If inflated til its hard using the in-built compressor, its comparable to a firm bed and I'm quite content with it (I sleep facing upwards, on my back). Furthermore, its really easy to pack and inflate.
      My only gripe with it is that the closer you are to the edge the softer it is, even when its fully inflated. Not quite sure if this will be a problem for the single size but the edges of my one is uncomfortable/unusable for me.

      for reference, my primary bed is a onebed hybrid mattress. If you're used to something more luxurious, not sure if my comments will help.

  • This looks just like the $20 Kmart ones though 🤨

    • I was in the same boat and got one of these which seems to have decent reviews at 1/4 or 1/3 the cost of premium ones

          It's still in transit I'll update once I get my hands onto it

        • Just got it yesterday and tested it. Feels very comfortable. Easy to inflate, however it's challenging to deflate as it doesn't have dedicated deflating valves like the expensive models. However a $20-30 electric pump will solve this, rather than paying $200 more just for that convenience. Overall I'm quite happy with the product.

        Perfect for Tesla employees.

        "Furthermore, make it an air bed in your workplace for a nap or keep it as a spare mattress at home when friends or relative come in visiting."

  • Beware : Doesn't come with a pump
