    Price in title please.
And what are the savings here?

    • +1

i think the whole chicken is $13.00 or so for a hot chicken they put it up recently. So i buy from the less.

As for the rest i assume around $4.50 each.

      IMO not a good deal.

Is this to compete against KFCs 8 pieces, 6 nuggets, 2 Lrg chips, 2 large gravy and dipping sauces for $20?

    • +1

      KFC way better

  • +10

Calling RR a restaurant is awfully kind.

  • +1

Not bad. Not great. Somewhere in between. If the chicken was a little larger it would be a good deal.

Does anyone actually eat coleslaw anymore? It seems a bit later '70s, early '80s. I like it, but others in the family wouldn't.

    • +1

I like it but RR's potato and gravy and coleslaw taste bad and don't hold a candle to KFC's.

If the chicken was a little larger it would be a good deal.

Yep, I'm glad it's not just me that noticed…RR chooks are like pigeons.

I can eat roughly half a supermarket chook in a single sitting…but put me in front of a RR bird & I'm flying solo! ;)

      • +6

Perhaps a name change to Red Pigeons then?

          Microwaved red pidgeons.

    Thumbs up if you agree!

they are, you'll just have to take my word for it though.

Not really a bargain considering their current $19.95 meal includes 1 whole chicken, 1 large chips, 1 large gravey, 1 garlic bread and 6 chicken nuggets. You have to tell your manager he is going to have to do better deals than that to get ozbargainers onboard.

Can't one just buy a roast chicken from the supermarket for $10 and put the rest of the money towards other things to eat with dinner?

    • +1

Exactly! Gotta try harder then this red rooster… Only thing worth getting at RR is actually the $2? chicken rolls, Even though it's save $10, You'd be crazy to pay $30 for that deal

  • +2

If a deal is only going to be available on Wednesday's like its some sort of super special deal, it better be pretty special. But the above offer isnt special at all.

I love Red Rooster… if you HAVE to eat takeaway there's actually some pretty healthy options (legitimate dinner options) that are actually pretty good for you.

But the above offer sucks- better value elsewhere.
A promotion needs to be better than this Rep…. come on, surely there's better value to be had!

  • +1

The only thing of value is the ~$13 chicken, the rest is overpriced filler :( if the deal was $13-14 then I'd get it but otherwise I have no need for the rest

  • +2

I want roast vegies included for that price. They can keep the coleslaw and chips - I want roast taties and 'punkin'

    • +1

i think your not the only one. i dont want coleslaw and chips. taties and punkin yum otherwise mash and gravy. does anyone know whether they will let you swap sides? i assume not but you dont know unless you ask. red lea chickens are far better imo and cheaper and its 2 for $15 so i would rather do that and get mash and gravy from RP.

my local red pigeon is oppositional everytime it comes to voucher and deals the slave labour children are ok but the manager is tighter than a chooks bum. - Question to RP: why send me them if you dont want to accept them, seriously you get me there and argue is not going to make me buy things at full price its going to make me angry and not buy from you ever.

im going to agree with most of the comments. i like red rooster food but this deal is not great so not really ozbargain worthy. i wouldnt go to the shop today to get it even though chicken sounds good this does not seem worth it. its not a terribly bad offer is just not a good one either.
