  I have something similar to this bought from Amart, not good for long hours. Sweats a lot. Not breathable.

  Just another perspective. I currently have an office chair from amart that is similar to this (price and material) and I have had no problems with the customer service, chair was breathable and has lasted 6 years with no problems, which is why I made a post about this deal.

    When you sit in an office chair for an extended amount of time (which let's be real, that's every ozb person), these just don't cut it, need a fully ergonomic chair.

  Have had similar chairs like these in the past. One thing to take note of is the seat cushion, it looks good but after a little while sitting on it the foam becomes non existent and you are basically sitting on a plank of wood that is underneath and will become real uncomfortable.

  I've been using the Ikea Markus at home since about 2007. First one broke when we moved interstate in 2010 and was replaced by movers. Second one lasted about 10 years and I replaced it around 2020 as found a nearly new one on Gumtree for a fraction of cost as person was moving overseas. All 3 were the fake leather type. I use it every day.
