    $10 worth of everyday rewards

Everyday Rewards 1000 points Mydeal booster

    1000 EDR points = $5

  • It’s actually about 23c per tablet after the discounts, as the cashback is calculated without tax

  • Does anyone know if you need to be a new user on mydeal for the Cash rewards to work. I read something on CR app that you have to be a new user in mydeal database for the cash reward to work.

i.e. new user sign up with an email that hasn’t been signed up to mydeal before

  • i missed out of the booster for mydeal i have Everyday Market instead

I did however get this plus because i'm lazy these too

I usually get either the non-powerball Finish tablets (110) or the Aldi ones (when available on Special Buys).

No issues whatsoever, both work great.

    • Yeah I had whatever cheapo ones and noticed no difference

  • +12

Aldi sells a pack of 40 dishwashing tablets for $7.50, so to get the same amount, it would cost an equivalent of $48. Performs the same in my experience as well.

    • +2

My experience has been very different - Aldi poor results for me. YMMV

    • +2

They seem to be out of stock for my local stores. But yes, they do perfectly fine

      • The Aldi ones have always worked great for us but the supply is too unreliable, they have been out of stock for what seems like months now in WA.

    • The Aldi tablets are not the same quality as these ones. In my experience, they don't dissolve the same and my dishes remain dirty.

      • +1

My experience with Aldi tabs was terrible as well (doesn't dissolve fully and leaves dishes dirty). Cheap ones like Finish classic and Coles homebrand powder all work the same (acceptable). Fairy Platinum expert has been the best except for the strong smell.

        • The cheapest Aldi ones aren’t worth buying. Their more expensive ones ($7.50 for 40) are excellent.

        • Oh yea I must admit that I did have problems with the tablets not fully dissolving, but what I started doing was remove the "dissolvable" plastic wrapping that the tablets are wrapped in before placing them in the dishwasher, and they perform fine in terms of washing ability.

This is not an inconvenience to me such that I forgot to mention it in my original post.

      • Never had any issues with Aldi tablets not dissolving. I did try Aldi dishwashing powder and that was a fail however.
I don't even buy the platinum variety of Aldi tablets. The cheaper standard tablets work just fine and only costs 15 cents per tablet.

    • My local 3 Aldi stores have completely empty shelves in terms of automatic dishwasher tablets & powders.
All they have is rinse aid.

I asked one of the staff the other day and he shrugged his shoulders and looked at his little tablet and said "The tablets just show unavailable".

Dunno what is going on but I got desperate and bought some Woolworths Shine tablets, got a box for $8.
Haven't tried them yet, but those Aldi ones were my go to because they work really well and are good value for money.

    • We tried the Aldi tablets recently with a 15 year old Bosch dishwasher and had bad results like others have mentioned e.g. not dissolving completely.

Then the heat pump died and we had it repaired. We continued using the tablets and had no issues after that. I suspect it was probably temperature related

The Ts and Cs say this excludes cashback offers so I'm not sure it will work?

      • +1

They won't be able to detect b2b cashrewards transaction with my deal
it will be more related to the commbank cashback rewards brand

    Logix or Quantum?

  • +3

Cashback tracked for me at full 15%

    Total spent: AUD$75.00
    $11.25 Cashback PENDING

    • got side tracked and forgot about cashback, cant do it once purchased yeah?

  • +1

Meh, homebrand ones at 10c per tablet does the same job.

    • +2

I switch from these to Aldi ones, not even close to the same quality

      • +1

which was not even close to the same quality?

        • +5

My dishes remain dirty when using Aldi tablets on the same wash cycle. Hence not the same quality, that never happens with Quantum.

          • -5

@bargainhunter168: maybe it's the stuff you are leaving on?

          • +3

@bargainhunter168: I have recently switched to using half an Aldi Logix tablet and works well…

          • -1

@bargainhunter168: I call user error. Either you dont set your dishwasher to a hugh enough temperature or your food is baked on.

            • +2

@mrvaluepack: Nope, the way I use my dishes haven't changed, the cycle I use to wash them hasn't changed. The only variable is the tablets.

I've got this deal, let's see if it changes back. I've never had dirty dishes when I was using Quantum tablets.

  • great deal with the cashback. Should last me for most the year

I dont know who in the world is buying Lemon, ruined my dishes, i had to throw out all my tupperware because they became so infused with the scent.

    • +2

Washing plastics in dishwashers does that regardless. Either hand wash plastic or ditch it and switch to glass/ceramic

      • It put the smell on all my dishes

    19c each

    Bargain

      • $5 (everyday rewards) = $43.75

      17c each :)

      • Ah yes. I forgot about those extra points.

        • CommBank yellow $15 cashback just received

  • +1

Better than Aldi's "Logix Platinum Dishwashing Tablets"?
    https://www.aldi.com.au/groceries/laundry-household/househol…

    • +4

Unless your dishwasher has issues with the Aldi tablet like some people claim here, just go with whichever is cheaper IMO.
In the end, it's just a dishwashing tablet that washes dishes. Aldi tablets are perfectly fine based on my experience and I personally have no desire to spend anymore than I need to on something as boring as dishwashing tablets.

  • +3

I never understood the differences in the variations of the Finish Ultimate - Ultimate Pro, Ultimate All in One, Ultimate Quantum etc…Could someone kindly explain

  • After cashback from both CBA and cashrewards, the unit price is almost the same as Aldi's logix. VEry good deal

  • What happens if I use EDR points? Will it void the cashback earnings?

  • Coles Ultra Advanced is my go to. Never had an issue.

  • I guess that CBA offer is targeted, I can't see it in my CBA app. Also, it only gives me 75 points, not 1000, not sure if it because I brought something from mydeal recently

  • Looks to be sold out?

  • Sold out just as i was loading my cart

  • +1

sold out as i was logging in :(

  • long time quantum user but switched to costco kirkland tablets which is about 15c each.. haven’t looked back

    • Im using Finish classic for 17c each at the moment and reckon they clean just as well as the quantem. Individual tablet wrappers is a slight PITA though.

  • Excellent deal, although I switched back to powder.
Besides the big $$ savings, add a little in pre-wash and it makes a big difference.

  • STOCKTAKE…
    Ozb: Yes!

Obligitory video posting from Technology Connections

  • Anyone else not receive their EDR points yet?

    • Mine are there now that it's been shipped

  • Anyone else that is still waiting for dispatch?

    • Got mine a couple of days ago

    • Yes still waiting. Got my 1000 EDR points though.

  • So I just opened mine and they're Finish Quantum but no mention of Max.. does it make a difference?

  • Yes mine are Quantum also (not Quantum Max)…how odd.

And they have a May 2024 expiry date…what happens when they expire?
