Baseus Qi 15W Wireless Air Vent or Dash Mount Car Charger $33.99 ($33.19 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Baseus eBay Store

MSJAN15MSJAN17

Baseus has dropped the price by 20% from their normal price on this nifty car phone holder and Qi charger that then stacks with the current eBay codes for a great price. It comes with a vent mount base and dashboard mount base giving you the choice of either.

A neat feature is that the clamping mechanism is automatic and clamps onto you phone as soon as you place it into the cradle.

The 15W Qi charge is achievable with an Android phone. iOS seems to limit the charge rate to less than that.

  • I've got a MagSafe ring on the back of my phone. Life changing by not having to deal with any finicky air vent holders. Gently place it there, it charges. Bit of a tug to get it off and you're laughing

    • Sorry but what exactly is charging your phone?

      • Great question lmao I talked so much about the phone and not the charger. Same as the comment below, a Listen MagSafe mount with a wireless charger built in. Has a USBC socket to connect to your regular car chargers. But only has to be plugged in once, the phone charges wirelessly when placed against the holder

        • Hahah sweet, I've got an expensive one thats very similiar to that, just grabbed a $30 Lisen to try it out for the work car

  • Bought this auto clamping mount from a previous deal for $30 and it's our favourite mount, would still recommend it at this price for anyone considering. Very strong and sturdy. Compatibility is pretty much universal given its a clamping mechanism. You'll need to figure out where is the little button to activate the clamp but once you do it's great.

We swapped it out for a Lisen MagSafe wireless mount recently but it requires everyone who uses the mount to have MagSafe compatible case, so not as 'universal' as this one.

  • will it break the vent

    • Normally the vent plastic is very strong.

    • One of the vent mounts.pushed in one of my vents on my Toyota, most likely user error but it was a pia , I had to screw some bolts and take out the vent to realign it and put it back

  • How do you guys use it for CarPlay without plugging in the cable ?

  • The auto clamping mechanism is a PITA. I don't want to be charging my phone every time I dock it. I ditched this and went back to a standard manual mount and just plug in a cable when I want to charge. Plus I kept getting overheating warnings on the phone when charging wirelessly on long trips. Either a manual clamping mechanism or an on/off charge switch would have been a much better design in my option.
