  • RIP just paid $30 for this at kmart

    • Hand in your OzBargain badge please

    • Well you probably got a real set, you can't truly be sure this is a legit copy… unless you don't care then hand the badge in lol

  • “This event is not available “

  • Marketplace. Might as well get from AliExpress is you want a cheap knock-off.

I think they started out as being sold by Catch directly though.

Shows up at $17.58 for me

  • Are these fake? I have seen they are like half price on eBay (around the price of this deal)

    • Yeah idk either I ordered 2 packs for $15 with my $5 eBay plus voucher a couple days ago, we’ll see what they look like when they arrive

  • +1

i got on the last deal, great card game.

  • Wow out of stock in under two hours, seems popular

  • Is it not worth buying from any seller that is not directly Catch for risk for knock offs? Like current $17.58 seller?

  • There are knockoffs of this on Ali for $8-9… What would be the downside of getting one of those?

  • +2

Yeah these could possibly be fakes, though if they are real the cards should be textured with grids of dots as well as the font should look similar to the advertised pics, another sign is the size of the cards (fakes sometimes are smaller than the original).

Though if you don't care and just want the game then fair enough, it's still fun to play even if a fake version. Only issue if when you have the original real deck and get fake expansion packs.

    • What's the problem with an og deck and fake expansions, out of interest?

      • +1

It's not a massive deal, but as said above if you get a fake expansion pack and the cards are smaller than the real OG deck then it's obvious which cards your opponent has and vice versa (you can estimate they have an expansion pack card and perhaps know which one).

Also I'm not entirely sure if the back side of a fake deck has identical text to a real deck so that could be another issue.

        • ah got ya, thanks

  • This is cheap because it's a gateway drug to the expansions that I now want!

I got mine today, it's fun and it seems genuine.
