[Refurb] Google Pixel 6 Pro 128GB $459 Delivered @ Mobile Federation eBay

170
FEBSAVE

Might not be a deal for everybody as it's a 2 years old refurbished phone after all.

However, it represents excellent value at just a 3rd of Pixel 8 Pro's price. Unlike most other refurbished unit's 3 - 12 months warranty, this seller offers full 2 years and a proper tax invoice.

All three colours are available

From my personal experience of a 7 Pro purchase recently, condition / battery life are as described and the phone was delivered in about 2 days.

I can't even get the screen replaced on my 6 pro for that price!

Yep and if you stocked some eBay gift cards from previous deals, the final price would be around $414 which is crazy cheap for just a marginal step down from the current flagship.

  • Haven't had a pixel phone before - if I were to purchase this and assuming it arrives with light usage and being 2 years old, what sort of lifespan would you expect the phone to have before feeling the need to upgrade?

    • +1

Minimum 2 years as that's how long the warranty covers. Beyond that, it's a luck of draw. For instance, I bought 2 Pixel 3XL back in 2018 where one died in late 2023 and the other one is still going strong.

      • Even getting 5 yrs use out of a phone is pretty good in my view, certainly longer than most and sure

also a credit to your good handling. Have you needed to replace either of the two batteries in these phones,

and what was/is the condition then and now?

I purchased a used as new (hardly used Pixel 3XL 2 1/2 years ago, and also still going strong including

original battery. In saying that, I do juggle between 2/3 phones as my secondary phones are used more heavily

for gps/streaming content type stuff, and Pixel for my main phone to call/txt/message and light use, but still great.

lol my two 3xls were also used (like new) and no battery replacement required. We held on to them for so long because the new 20.5:9 ration screen is simply inferior imho. They were our only phone and battery health for both unit were sitting at around 82%. The only thing that felt outdated was 4 gigabytes of RAM which causes background apps to constantly re-launch.

$417 at Reebelo, it is in excellent condition.

    • That seems to be a pretty nice deal as well, though there are a few things to keep in mind:

      • Phone in OP is Australian stock while Reebelo doesn't specify its source
      • 24 month warranty from this eBay seller vs 12 months on Reebelo
      • Rebeelo uses a completely different grading scale and I suspect that As New from eBay's unit would translate to 'Premium' on Reebelo which costs $538
      • you're right on the money for Premium grade on Reebelo

        • Also looks like prices went up to $487 now.

Any idea about what 'refurbishing' generally consists of? Is it just a quick wipe with windex or do they typically replace batteries, screens etc before selling?

    • +2

My guess is the former for fully functional units and the latter for defected ones. They are definitely not giving you new batteries or screens if that's what you're wondering

  • +1

Phone arrived 2 days after purchase, and the only obvious signs of prior use were a small indent in the top left side frame, and micro scratches on the screen (which you needed a strong light to see).

The phone itself was a newer model - the battery running hot issue was resolved, and the fingerprint sensor works as well as my P7 Pro.

For future reference with this seller, our n=1 is we got a bargain.

    • Good to know that their quality for refurbished units seems consistent
