Hi,

I was searching for a Sonos One to buy. I noticed JB Hifi have this version in both white and black for $199.

Havent seen it mentioned anywhere else before. All other shops on google I could find still have it for sale at around $319.

No idea when the deal ends. I'll be grabbing one today :)

    I have both. To use as single or stereo speakers the One sounds better - at this price I’d go the One’s.

    For rear speakers for a soundbar the symfonisk are perfectly fine and a bit cheaper.

      i wanted rear speakers to go with my soundbar, the sonos look good, but the price of stands to go with them are over the top.

      Guess symfonisk works better for that.

  keep in mind if you're already in Sonos ecosystem with old gear and the S1 app, you can't add the One SL to your existing system, it only works on the S2 app. This caught me out last year.

  SONOS is overrated i think. I have the Roam, for what it costs, pretty average.

    You are probably correct about the gen1 roam but not Sonos across the board. I remember reading about its lack of power when researching buying roam vs arc a few years back. Apparently roam comes alive if you pair it with a pair of ones as surrounds or a sub (additionally, reports are that gen 2 roam has fuller sound but I don’t have first hand experience).
    I bought into Sonos with a pair of Ones when they were offering Sonos+wine deals back in 2018 ($150each). Really happy with their performance for their size. Added and Arc in 2021 to take advantage of pairing with tv, immersion of the sound is really impressive, particularly when streaming Atmos content. Only complaint is that it is quite difficult to get Atmos music. Atmos not available on Spotify, is available on Apple Music but only with Apple TV box (I.e. won’t stream atmos on your smart tvs Apple Music app ). Would love to add a sub to my system at this stage but I feel I would have a falling out with the neighbours.
