It was almost 40gm for 14 series, even 16gm difference I would say is significant for a pocket device weighing in gms.

I got moto phone at 175gm moving away from brick iPhone 12 pro max. And there are many who want lighter devices even if plasticky or whatever. So this deal is of interest to me for a light iPhone.
