[Perks] Dreame L20 Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop with Auto-Empty and Mop Self-Cleaning $2,159.10 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

80

RRP is $2,799. Fantastic deal for a robot vacuum that was just released a couple of months ago when combined with the 10% Perks offer.

Best previous deal was $2,239.20 w/accessory pack as a preorder - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/801799

Having done a bunch of reviews, it seems the Dream L20 Ultra comes out on top of most models. The Dreame X30 was announced at CES 2024, however, when reaching out to Dreame Australia, they couldn't provide a date as to when or if that model comes to Australia.

Combine with some JB HiFi gift cards for further savings (e.g. 4% off with HCF Thank You rewards)

  • Lubluelu with the dock is ~ $400 :)

      Broom is $5 :)

Have this from the deal at release. Better than my xiaomi original robot vacuum, sure, but it still gets stuck occasionally on cables or under furniture. Dust bin in the unit got so clogged on the routine auto empty setting that it couldn't auto empty.
Some of the higher level functions also fiddly. For example wanted to stop at dock when people were over, and then resume after they left. There was no way to return to dock without completing the cleaning task, so only option would be to pause it in the middle of a room.
Also despite setting room sequence, randomly does things out of order sometimes. Prob not a big issue for many, but we set it to clean babys bedroom first for when she wakes up,but doesn't always happen.
Too high expectations maybe, but pretty frustrating to have left the house and a 2.2k vacuum to get stuck!

Personally can’t see the different between a 1k robot vacuum and a 2k one.

        $1000

          That makes sense, cheers.

    • Appreciate you detailing your experience.
I've been sceptical to move to dreame because of peoples customer service and navigation feedback.
I've had the roborock S6 for about 4 years and it hasn't missed a beat, doesn't get stuck, lost and room sequence works.
Roborock q Revo max is coming out in a few months with the same features as the L20, I think I'll wait for that.

  • Will they price match against the Lubluelu deal? ;)

  • +1

At this price I’d take the L10s which has most if not all of the same features ~$650 less on sale.

      L10s for $650?
      Link please

Yeah, i got my L10S Ultra for $1500. Good investment, but the L20S Ultra would be nice with the mop pad extension arms. Would make it mop a lot quicker if/when you set it to mop edges properly.

  • can anyone find the dock that plumbs in locally? only seen it on amazon germany

    • Had to order mine from taobao and since it doesn’t have watermark there’s always a risk involved. Having said that it works well and very happy that I plumbed in.

    • The L20 Ultra dock can be plumbed in.

      • Yes the docks are compatible but you need additional hardware to plumb in which is what I think he was saying.

  • I recently had a bad experience with Dreame customer service, as it was a nightmare to get W10 repaired 8 months of use.
Had to send multiple videos back & forth to prove, " mop need to repair".
Good mop , but not long-lasting! ( first one died just over a year)

Personally I don’t think any of these robots are made to last more than 2 years. Some don’t last 6 months.

Most of these dingbat companies are happy to take your money but no customer support as soon as something goes wrong.
"Customer service" from 10-15 years ago is vastly different to what is dished out these days.

        • That’s why I buy these from Amazon, I return them and I get my refund. Simple

      Or bought this

    • Cheaper than hiring a cleaning person for $100 a fortnight… Plus there's always resell value

Robot vacs can't wipe surfaces, clean toilets or windows though…

Only until real Robot at that price.
