  • i think this is better than the karcher that was on sale last week.

  • +1

thanks for posting this. been waiting a while till this came on sale again as when i tried on previous times it wouldnt ship to OZ.

can't believe shipping is only 11quid for this.

    • yeah. being too used to australia post prices, i am suspicious about such low postage. i think i've been brainwashed.:|

    • I ordered one of these another time and it was rejected by the courier at Heathrow and sent back to Amazon. They refunded me all but the postage - I complained though and got the postage back too.

I don't think others had this issue - it may have been something unique to me. I used to live at number 10 in a street, and 14 was our neighbour but the standard database people use only has 10-14, so perhaps I was rejected for having a bad address.

Either way - I didn't loose anything (except a small difference in exchange rate when I was refunded). Tempted to try again…

      • I've had many shipping issues with Amazon UK lately, with both DHL and UPS. Probably because my suburb name exists in WA and NSW, and they pick the wrong one by default. I then have to chase up the courier to tell them they sent it to the wrong place.

    • Shipping is cheap coz they obviously made a mistake …. 'Boxed-product Weight: 150 g'…that shipping weight should've been at least 7kg….

So if you're in the market for one of this then this is your chance as they might rectify the mistake ….

Nah shipping does not have anything to do with the weight being wrong. Shipping from Amazon (not including other Amazon sellers) is between reasonable and excellent. They can afford to do this as they have massive negotiating power with the couriers and often fill the last spots available on the flight

  • Wow, they didn't even try to hide the fact that they were copying Karcher…

  • Nice price, I missed out on the previous nilfisk c120 deal but I think this is more suited for my needs and it's much cheaper!

  • So whats needed for aussie power, just a straight adaptor?

    • -2

I thought they were petrol powered ??

    • Yes, but is has to be a 3-prong one.

      • No, I got the C120 and changed the plug to an Aussie one.
There was no earth wire. I think they went out when they started making everything out of plastic :)

  • Nice price, I missed out on the previous nilfisk c120 deal

In the same boat as you. Have set up a price watch for the C120 model.
Only difference seems that C120 has a bigger motor and hence faster flow. They appear to have same accesories.

Anyone- What does PCA or PAD mean in the description of these pressure washers ?

    • No drain cleaning hose/fitting and lower pressure.

      • So C120 has more features/accessories and of course its a tad more powerful

  • into the boat already, order one

  • Does it need an adapter ??

    • The spec says has a 3 pin plug and a 5 meter cable. I presume at the least it probably needs an adapter?

  • Got my vote, cheers :)

  • Thanks!

  • Good deal!! Too bad I just bought the scorpion from Masters. Bad timing.

  • Why this one is better than karcher ? just wondering !!!

  • I missed out on the previous deal. Was not satisfied with karcher. This is prefect. I was keeping an eye on it. Thought Amazon's trial shipping was over. Very happy now. Thanks a lot OP.

This is a really good deal! I paid $400 for mine at Bunnings a few months ago. BTW for people who don't know Nilfisk = Gerni.

    http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_gerni-classic-12…

    • The one you linked is a more powerful motor, hence more expensive.
Not the same one on offer from Amazon

    • Incorrect model compared, the one you list is more poweful.

  • Shipping for 2 = GBP 12.18

    • -1

Damn I would have bought 2 if I knew it was only 1 GBP more for a 2nd one.

      • You can still probably cancel it.
Amazon don't start processing until later. I think you can cancel order if if hasn't been shipped . I have noticed that in the past.

  • Just got one…order total came to 70.75, which appears to convert to just under $110. Have I missed something here?

    • Same here. Thanks OP. Ordered one was exactly £70.75 for me too.

    • that's because you remove 20% VAT and add shipping.

      £70.99 = £59.16 ex VAT
      Shipping £11.59
      Total: £70.75

About $109.50 AUD or the OP's $113.81 if you pay a rip-off exchange rate.

      • thanks, price updated in title

ordered only cause it was a bargain … darn you ozbargain :D

I get a rush of adrenaline at the checkout…

  • Nice price. Bought 1.
    Found the manual here:

  • non left :(

  • +6

doh, as always, I spent too long "researching" :( Hope everyone else manages to get theirs!

  • There is a different package available for slightly cheaper but it has not car brush http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-X-Tra-Pressure-Washer-Cleane… . When I went to checkout it said that they wont ship to australia :(

  • Anyone know the comparatively powered model here? I didn't pull the pin on it as I wasn't sure how powerful this beast is.

  • I tried it earlier when it was still in stock but it wouldn't ship to AU for me. I also tried the Nilfisk C120 3-6 PC Pressure Washer Patio Cleaner Set with 1,650-Watt Motor and that too wouldn't allow me to ship to AU.

    • I think this deal was a F#ckup by Amazon UK. It was actually available when I clicked add to basket. But when I tried to checkout, it added it to my wishlist.

  • Out of stock. The one without the patio brush is much cheaper by £17 but wouldn't ship here. :(

  • I ordered at 15:09 AEST and got a confirmation email

These should work a charm at $1 each.

    • You are not going to go travelling with this. Just cut off the ugly UK plug and put on a good Aussie one from your local hardware shop.

      • wont you void the warranty if you chop off the end and put an aussie plug?

        • No, not unless your plug caused the fault. Express warranties are rarely better than the statutory warranty.

Anyway - are you really going to ship it back to the UK for warranty service?

        • Pretty sure amazon pays for shipping both ways in the event of warranty claims. (at least that's the case with amazon Germany)

      • Did this, its illegal though in good ol' Queensland… I will have to pay an Electrician to put a plug on this device despite having an Electronics degree.

  • So, confirmation emails aside, has anyone had theirs shipped yet?

    • +1

Yeah, mine has been shipped and it says "Delivery estimate Thursday 8 Nov 2012" :)

  • How does one claim warranty over amazon?

    • send amazon an email (it took me awhile to find, but they responded fairly quickly)

  • Mine just arrived today.

    12 days for delivery. Sweet.

Paid by 28 Degrees card - cost was $110.54 AUD.

  • Just got mine as well.
