    Wow, that's shady as hell.

    Reminds me of the old days (early 2000s) when I suffered 'extreme bill shock' at the hands of Optus for a monthly internet plan. Back then it seemed that all the telcos were 'tardy' to update users' data usage (3-day lag or more), but very quick to begin logging/charging large amounts 'per MB' as soon as you exceeded your allocated data usage.

    Fortunately, for this particular X Small Plan,

    Data Boosts will not be available to customers on the X Small Plan.

  $50 would last maybe 20 minutes by the looks of it. Lebara $5 is still better for that purpose.
