Why not tell people where you wont ship too so you dont have to cancel a bunch of orders and hold peoples money while they wait for refunds.

    • +5

We've got authorisation to ship this free just about anywhere. For 99.9% of people it won't be an issue. If you live on an island or the middle of a desert, maybe give us a call prior and we can double check.

I thought it was a continent

@mynameisborat: "Island continent" according to ChatGPT, so I guess we're both right 🀝

Anyone bought this chair before and can give us a review please?

Some comments last time this was posted, seems ok.

    • There was 1 review in the previous deal @pkh linked, from @SBOB

Follow up on this. I got one of these chairs. Seems like a good chair for the price. Its not going to compete with a Steelcase or Herman Miller obviously, but if you're shopping in the $100-$250 mark from Officeworks for example, this feels like a better value chair option than those.
Obviously haven't put it to a long term test yet, but first day butt impressions, no issues :)

  • Would you know the shipping weight for this chair?

    • +1

      Hi! The carton shipping specs are: 67 x 32 x 65cm, 13kg

  • Not much to go off in terms of reviews unfortunately. The website itself just has an image of 5 stars but can't see any actual reviews?

    • Hey ritzaus, if you scroll down you should find the review section expandable near the product description.

      • Ah thank you :)

        • Only 1 review

          • @pformag: Yea. Seems cheap but really hard to tell what a decent chair is without actually sitting on one. Not much to go off in terms of reviews from the last sale and the website.

            • @ritzaus: 110kg weight limit puts me off… not that it needs to support more weight, but I think it’s also an indicator towards potentially not having robust foam for all-day use.

Probably fine for the kids to do homework on etc though.

  • Thanks got one

  • Aldi is release a chair this week

    • +1

Aldi chairs are landfill. I'm sitting on one right now.

      • +4

You live at landfill? . Cost of living is really hitting hard.

  • What's the height range?

    • Hey there. The seat height is 450 – 545mm, which, based on my experience with the rest of our range, is a pretty happy medium.

  • Thanks OP, seems to be a good deal

  • Cheers OP, oldies needed a new chair.

Fast delivery! Ordered yesterday, arrived today!

    • How is it?

      • +1

Not opened it yet, it's a birthday present for my son.

        • Without prying, roughly how long until it is opened? Days πŸŽ‚, weeks 🎁, years πŸ™„?

    • Nice. Did they leave it at your door or were you home?

      • +1

I was home, I met them in the driveway so not sure if they would have left it.

Re "If there is a small plastic cap on the strut…remove it prior to assembly"
Is that referring to the orange plastic cap on the end of the piston rod? https://i.imgur.com/DWnbJuA.jpeg

    • Hey Thrift, sorry it's a little confusing. That is part of the strut and doesn't need to be removed.

      • Cheers. I poked around and it didn't look like it was removable, assembled the chair and have been sitting comfortably for several hours now.
I should have also got one for the cat to avoid the fight to reclaim the chair after I've got up.

        • I can confirm it is removable… thanks for posting this Q though hahaha

  • Just got mine, it makes a horrible popping noise when leaning back on the backrest or when leaning side to side.
Bolts are all tight and armrests have been removed to trace the problem and it's not the backrest as even sideways rocking causes the popping noise.
Anyone else have this, any ideas of the cause?

    • +1

That certainly doesn't sound normal. I'd suggest retracing the installation steps as best you can and make sure you have the correct bolts in the correct places, and that they are properly threaded. If that doesn't solve it for you, please shoot us an email at [email protected] with your order number and, if possible, a video of the problem, and we can troubleshoot further or look at a replacement unit for you.

      • +1

Mine does exactly the same thing. I've removed backrest, tightened all the bolts and does the same thing.

  • Took me a minute to realize that "Free shipping does not apply if any other item is in the cart." applies to the shipping insurance automatically added to the cart, but I've now been able to place my order! :D
