probably about what one pass is worth

  • +6

I have the 50% off deal and it's paid for itself and more IMO…done a fair bit of shopping at Bunnings, Catch (free shipping), and Coles/Kmart/Target (5x Flybuys).

    • +3

Cometely agree. I've probably used it more than Amazon lately. Granted I just bought a new place so have needed lots from bunnings to get the yard into a good state.

I've noticed a lot of my Kmart/Target orders get cancelled using onepass. I think because they allocate to your local store but if they can't find the item they just cancel it even though it's still available on line and at other stores. Mostly I spend above the free delivery anyway.
Anything I want to buy at catch is excluded from free delivery.
Also find Bunnings delivery to be so slow here ~2 weeks and there's a Bunnings 5 mins away with stock) so I usually don't bother, although my last order was better so hopefully improving.
Hoping they get more businesses to join to make it worthwhile, I wouldn't extend my membership at the moment

    • Good if you are the type of person that uses uber eats and all that, and depends how far from the shops.

Guess Catch is handy, there are some occasions where they have the cheapest deals.

Can't imagine bunnings delivering bulky items for free?

      • +3

I've managed to get a lot of Bunnings sale items that are hard to find in my local delivered for free from other stores. Probably best if you are in a city with lots of potential Bunnings for an item to be delivered from

Yep it's been a total winner for me already. Wouldn't pay full price to subscribe but have already ordered various household things and bunnings tools that I would otherwise have had to schlep to the mall to get. And best of all this way I/we don't get sucked into buying other crap we didn't need while we're in store. If only IKEA would do this! haha..

BTW Kmart sent me a completely wrong order in one case, but just refunded the money without asking for the incorrect stuff to be returned (rrp $14).

Whats the link from the ad

    • I gave the link to someone else and it doesn't go to the same landing page. It goes to the normal 30 day trial instead.

      • +1

I'm wondering how an instagram/fb link can be targeted, if you could share that link would be helpful

  • +9

Thanks for this. This ad came up on my IG feed.

    Try this [link] (https://my.onepass.com.au/auth/signup?onramp=onepass_monthly…)

Edit: tested in incognito mode. MOD or OP if this works, please update main deal link and remove targeted status.

Lovely, this works for me. Thanks. Hope it works for others.

      • +3

Cancel upfront and still get 3 months with no automatic rollover charged after the trial finishes.

    • Thanks! This link worked for me too..

    • I can't update main link any more. over to MOD.

      • Can you update the contents? Perhaps the text with the link? 🤷

    • Worked for me. Cancelled as soon as I signed up and benefits remain until May.

  • +1

    Just as simple as

    https://my.onepass.com.au/auth/signup?onramp=onepass_monthly…

It is tested working for me.

  • What is Bunnings usual returns policy? I thought you could already take stuff back that's unopened/wrong size etc.

    • +2

I find Onepass is awesome for Bunnings, and Kmart.

Need something but not quite sure exactly which model? Buy all the variants online, sight them in situ, use what I want / need and return the remainder at a later time I know I'll be passing a Bunnings in the course of any other trip. Never been a problem to return stuff, even without a docket.

Fixing something non-urgent and need a particular single grub screw or hoseclamp or whatever? Just order it on the spot, park the job till it arrives, just saved an hour going to Bunnings for a $2 item.

Impulse to start a particular job but maybe not enough energy or time to carry it all the way through that day? Look at the job, order requirements online, I have a couple of days to get my tools and whatever else (including my work attitude) ready, and a valid excuse to give my wife when she asks if I got it done: "I'm just waiting for the part to be delivered."

Onepass and Bunnings are a winning combo in my experience.

      • You should work at Onepass marketing, if you don't already.

        • I'm not sure how their deal (onepass, Bunnings, Kmart, etc.) works but I'm pretty sure I cost them substantially more in deliveries than the fee, so maybe not the type of marketing they'd want.

      • Do you work in marketing? If not, you should :)

Signed up thanks. I have noticed lots of sites don’t accept disposable credit card numbers now, including this one. Revolut was a good idea but I don’t seem to be able to use it much.

    • Interesting to hear, I was thinking of getting a Revolut specially for this. But in the case of Onepass, I was able to cancel the subscription immediately while it still had a year to run, no risk of renewal as tragically happened to me the other day with the fairly useless Ebay Plus (something like $50? Ouch).

      • I used the standard Revolut digital card for a few things and then canceled the card and got a new digital card with a new number. It was all in the app and took a couple of minutes.

    Cheers.
Used paypal that was already setup with a $0 prepaid mastercard

365 day change of mind returns? Has anyone done this and they've honoured it?

  • Is it valid for anyone who used a OnePass trial before? Anyone can confirm?

I took up a trial months ago and then ended it once the trial period was over.

  • Earlier I used to frequently visit Kmart and Officeworks. With Onepass now I get to frequent the local post office since auspost in our area takes parcels to the post office even when people are home

  • Nice so no minimum spend for all delivered items sounds great

    • Not all deliveries, there are size/weight restrictions and some items aren't eligible for other reasons.

  • phone number used already :(

  • Bugger, thought it might have free Disney+ for 3mths. Silly me.

  • So doesn't work with existing account, I'd already cancelled mine some weeks ago - any experience workarounds like deleting (not cancel) existing OnePass account, or create new OP account linked to the same Kmart, Bunnings, Etc accounts?

    • +1

Just sign up with new email/card AND delivery address. Change your address once activated.

      • Just tried that, successfully created new account, logged in, used the link, no go - only 30 day trial offered.

  • +1

hardly worth it even at 50% off…just don't buy much from those places. If only coles is included.

    • This deal is worth $5.

Looks like the welcome gift card is no longer there…

    • Wait till the last day for overlap possibility.

      • sorry, what do you mean? will they bring back that offer agin

I needed two bags of concrete, $13 and 20 kg each. There was no free delivery with OnePass, delivery was like $25.
So, I ordered one and got free delivery. Ordered another one, new order, again free delivery.
I guess 40 kg might be too heavy for one delivery but two separate deliveries for a $13 item from a store 10 km away makes me think: Do they make a loss or do they have a massive margin?

    • +1

      Pretty good haha

    • Handy info, thanks

    • They must surely make a loss on a sale like that, they must be averaging it over all the sales

      • +1

Update. Ordered yesterday, today a truck stopped and they delivered both bags (40 kg) of concrete mix.

        • Concrete truck lol

    • It is all about Wesfarmers wanting you to be one of their addicts that never returns to the WW group.

  • great

  • I keep getting a 'welcome back, you've already redeemed your free trial…' message despite using new email and phone number…. perhaps they're linking me to previous account by CC? Possibly used the same one

    Anyone have a similar issue?

    • Correct, links by credit card number
