      its 50% of normal price!

        its 50% of normal price!

You can save 100% by not purchasing it…

Only real benefit seems to be extra flybuys points under certain conditions.

        • +19

Free delivery is a boon for some people if a store is not conveniently accessible, or ordering heavy items like gardening supplies.

(though keep in mind that the bonus flybuys only applies to in store purchases, not online purchases).

Break even at 4 (2 with 50% discount) Bunning's shops.

          • +18

@donkeyhokey: And it also gets around stock availability issues at individual stores. I don't mind going into a store, but my nearest Kmart is utterly hopeless with stock levels: most of my click-and-collect orders in the past have been at least partly cancelled. So the option of delivery through OnePass has been helpful.

            • +1

@PeterA07: My local Kmart is also terrible for listing items in stock that can't be found. I have recently been using express C&C (free with OnePass), where the item is available for local pickup within 2 hours.

            @donkeyhokey:

Break even at 4 (2 with 50% discount) Bunning's shops.

Can't use your powerpass then though…

          • @donkeyhokey: If you have a powerpass you don't get flybuys - and there's no reason not to have a powerpass.

            • +2

@Bdawg: Some items powerpass gives you zero discount. On those items buy separately and use flybuys.

You don't see value in saving $20? Here’s how to see the value in the $20 saving on a $40 item:

If this was something you genuinely need or have been wanting, getting it at half-price represents a real economic saving. It’s not just about spending less, but about spending wisely. If this item was on your to-buy list, now is a cost-effective time to purchase it.

Does this item improve your life, save time, or bring joy? If so, the $20 saving means you are getting value for less. The improvement to your life is worth more than the monetary saving.

You can save 100% by not purchasing it

You mean you can save 50% …

@z28: jv isn't the smartest cookie around.

          • +3

@z28: How do you know he wasn't referring to discounted price?

You CAN save 100% by not purchasing it, 100% of the remaining 50%.

          • +1

@z28: You can save 100% of the 50% though

            • +2

@Enterz: I think we are all becoming pedantic ie jv-like or jv clones.

        • +2

thanks jv- your advice has saved me millions with the money I haven't spent!!

        • +4

Are you kidding? I never have to go into kmart again.

        • Saving 50% off of the RRP of a service offered sounds plenty reasonable to me.

          Thanks OP!

      • Thing I hate is I always have to go to post office to pickup which defeats the purpose.

        • Me too. I ordered from Bunnings but had to pick up from P/O which was twice as far away as Bunnings. Should have just done a C&C order.

          • +1

@RoosterBooster: They really need to fix that and allow drop off or parcel locker as bigw was right next to my post office so I had to wait a week to do the same thing I would buying it physically.

Can you stack to existing memberships?

    • Yes, I wan on monthly plan and then changed it to a yearly with the promotion price. it will be reflected after my current 1 month plan is finished.

      • +1

How? It says not available to existing

Edit: oh I see you edited yours :) I have annual already so how does that work

        • OP means existing 1 year membership not monthly one.

      • +1

So would it apply to a yearly plan as well?

      • How? I have a current sub and cant see the option to stack

        • I simply clicked on the advertisement I saw on Instagram then I change my monthly subscription to yearly.

    • +3

Cant add to an annual plan

  • I have joined Onepass before Christmas, but I still have not got a membership card.
Do they have a membership card like Powerpass?

    • +13

I'm not aware of any membership card. It's mostly for online shopping.

    • +9

there is no physical membership card. If you install their app, you can add the membership barcode to phone wallet.

      • Thank you. Just add to the iphone wallet.

    • +4

Once logged in you can find your digital membership card.

      • what do you need the digital membership card for? My understanding is, if you link your Flybuys to your one pass membership then as long as you scan your Flybuys in store you will get the extra flybuys points awarded to one pass members

        • Scan your OnePass card at checkout to save your transactions or just in case you lose your Flybuys card.

This is so much better value than Amazon Prime. K-Mart & Bunnings are so much better than Amazon for small things.

    • +6

Do they do next day delivery like Amazon do?

      • Yeah I'm interested in how long the delivery takes

        • +7

          takes 1 week on aveerage

        • +8

So far I’ve ordered two separate items and it has taken them under 24hrs on both occasions. The use “GOpeople” delivery and u can see live updates of drivers location. It’s pretty cool. Happy with it so far (especially becoz I’m on free 1mth trial).

          • @Aby007: Interesting, I thought they used Australia Post for deliveries.

            • +2

@Austrian Oak: In my area they use couriers please, I prefer Amazon dragonfly couriers

            • @Austrian Oak: They use whoever and whatever makes sense depending on the area and what store it's shipped from.

              • +3

@BradH13: Yeah for me the delivery is garbage via Couriers Please. I’ve had items sit in their depot for a week or more and drivers claim delivery attempts they didn’t attempt. Amazon are at least reliable. I’d would rather drive to the local Bunnings or Kmart than put up with horrible delivery.

                • +1

@Onemoredeal: This has been my experience also. They use Couriers Please in my area. I ordered 2 items from Kmart. Both orders I've placed have been left at a pickup point in a shopping centre 10 minutes away. Both times I've been home all day. The shopping centre has a Kmart in it.
The only upside is that one of the items I ordered had no stock so was 'delivered' from a different Kmart.

                  • +2

@end user: It’s not the stores fault but they will never have a product as good as Amazon while they reply on terrible delivery companies

        • In Melbourne inner suburbs I've had things delivered from target within two business days

        • +1

All my recent Catch orders have taken 1-2 days. Kmart and Target orders around 3 days. Pretty good

        • +1

          It'll come 1 day

      • +5

Not yet as they don't have a dedicated warehouse and rely on individual stores to ship the items. Once they have enough subscribers then I am sure delivery times will improve.

      • +1

I’m in Sydney metro and usually can take 2-4 days; bunnings usually faster maybe next or 2nd next day; Kmart a bit slower. Target a week.

      • Nope.

      • +2

It's not even about next day for me. Amazon says right next to the item exactly which day they can deliver it to me, then 99% of the time that's the day it arrives. Sometimes a week is fine, as long as it is definitely there in a week. Sometimes I need it tomorrow. Amazon seem to be the only ones who can tell me that.

    • +6

both don't accept gift cards online, this is the only thing holding me back.

    • +20

It absolutely is not better value than amazon prime…
It's good value, but with amazon prime you get a lot more items on offer, prime only deals, prime free shipping, prime video, prime gaming and more.

      • +4

I’d pay the $80 a year just for prime video, though the introduction of ads is an unwanted annoyance

    • +2

yes, "better value for small things"
I bought one small item on ebay less $5, was wondering how seller could cover postage more than $5, until I got package posted from Kmart "onepass free delivery" :)

    • +1

Are there restrictions on delivery of bulky Bunnings products? If not, this is a great deal just in terms of the time saved pulling the kids seats out of the car so that I can fold the seats down.

  • +6

Thank you. Recently subbed to one pass for a month to get something and was going to cancel. However, this is great. Changed plan from monthly to annual and $20 for the first 12 months.

    • +2

same - changed the recently subscribed monthly trial to this discounted annual membership - starting after the current trial end date.

  • +8

I would agree with OP. This is a good membership to have. With Kmart, OW, Bunnings, Catch and Target, I am able to get most small stuff delivered without a fee. On top, the bonus flybuys points mean the membership will pay for itself in a year.

    • +20

Note that flybuys bonus only works in-store. Does not stack with Delivery.

OnePass members get 5x Flybuys points for every $1 spent in-store at Kmart, Target, Bunnings Warehouse and Officeworks. Alternative Flybuys offer for Catch.

  • It's good enough, even it is $40. Yeah, $20 is double good.
X5 point and free delivery for small goods.

  • I think we pay a Catch sub. Would it be better to cancel that and get this?

    • +3

The old "Club Catch" was phased out quite some time ago and replaced by Onepass.

  • Literally signed up for a trial last night. Can I still avail this deal?

    • Deal is available until 31/01. You can switch to annual on that day.

    • doesn't matter i signed up for monthly sub trial last week - changed this to annual discounted membership now which will be charged on the day trial ends.

  • +14

I got this last time, and it's great value. I use it for Kmart and Bunnings a lot. Bunnings is particularly great because if they're out of stock of something, they'll often give you a more expensive product at no extra cost. I've gotten potting mix that cost twice as much and a 10kg bag of rocks instead of the 3kg I ordered.

    • +1

did you order online to get the substitute or do they do that instore too?

      • +1

It's for online orders. They seem to be bad at keeping track of their stock, so if you order something that says it's in stock and it turns out not to be, they'll often give you a more expensive substitute where appropriate.

  • +8

Not as useful as I thought it would be after I signed up. Still prefer Amazon for things that I need the next day.
If I don't need it the next day, I will pick up stuff from Kmart/target/bunnings, they are pretty much within 2-5km distance. Save the environment from excessive packaging materials.
But I like the 5x flybuys points as I have accumulated quite a bit since I joined.

    • +1

agree with you on amazon, but for $20 i'd save most of my trips for the year on kmart/target/bunnings/officeworks etc (have them closer to me as well). Think of all the fuel you'd save (better for environment in that sense too) by specifically travelling to the stores to pick things up.

  • What does the referral look like? I cant find it, even going through above link?

  • Hmm… would there be any benefits of getting double OnePass memberships such as eBay Plus (for the no final value fee listing)?

  • +1

So, How do I join? It's still full-price on the onepass website.

    • +4

The post links to page 1 of the catalogue, which in turn links to the offer page.

      • Thank you.

  • +10

Thanks OP, signed up and cancelled. Expires 10 Jan 2025.

    • +2

Thanks - so just to confirm we can cancel now to avoid forgetting, and the full year still seemingly runs?

  • With how popular the boost deals are I'd assume most would keep signing up to the free trials…….
