Randomly stumbled upon this landing page. DON'T click the yellow button, the promotion for 3 months is right above it in a separate banner, click on that instead. It says new customers only but I previously had a one-month trial and it still worked for me so idk. Note that it is through Amazon.com, NOT Amazon.com.au, so you might need to create an amazon.com account if you don't have one already. You will also get 1 credit per month to "buy" books from them so spend them wisely! Otherwise their free catalogue isn't too bad.

    So funny seeing authors complain about Amazon hurting independent book stores on X and then a month later they are spruiking their exclusive audiobook on Audible. They could have sold the rights to their audiobook exclusively through small bookstores for far less money and reach if they really wanted..

    Note if you have previously had an Aussie Audible account (.com.au) anh pre-existing library you may have amassed won’t appear in this (.com).

      You need to change from .com to .com.au (and back again) on your device to see the separate libraries, even if you use the same email address.

    Hmm. I saw the 3 month trial, but after I logged in to buy, it disappeared and now I can only see the 1 month trial..

    How do you create an Amazon.com account? Do you need to use American address?

    Remember that Spotify now does Audiobooks too if you've got a Premium account (not sure how the catalogues compare but I've been pleasantly surprised) - Audible is expensive once the trial period is over

      Just cancel and wait till they give you 99 cents a month for two months, then cancel again. Have done that a few times.

      The key to Audible is to never pay for anything, multiple accounts then get free trials or the 99c for a month deals

    It worked to sign up on the browser. But when I installed the app and signed in, it tells me to "Join now to get this title for free" can someone explain what's happening?

    icloud mail has this hide you emails function which creates as many fake emails as you like and it forwards them to you real email you could make an account every year when this comes around lol

    If you cancel to prevent the charge on the end of the free trial, does the membership still continue until then?

      You need to wait until the final month before cancelling otherwise it will cancel at end of current month. Just set a reminder.

    I suspect the three month deal might be "Targeted".

    I have 3 Audible accounts (expired). I received come back emails for two over the last week with subject of "Congrats, you've unlocked 3 months free"".

    I think this is for the 'American Audible'. My app which uses the australian audible doesnt reflect the subscription even though this did work for me.

    Please be aware it is in American format.. billing date is '03/07/24' like it states is actually 07/03/24 I believe.. I thought I had the deal but it was only for 1 month. Still good thanks op

    It worked me for but my mobile has the Australian Audible app. Is there an easy way to switch between regions on the app? I'm assuming probably not.

    Worked for me, it says

    "Audible Premium Plus is free for your first 3 months. After 3 months, membership continues at $14.95 (AUD 22.91 as of today) a month."

    But when I go to subscriptions is says
    "Your subscription will renew on March 7, 2024" and it is not clear that I get months 2 and 3 for free.

    Think it should be ok though, I took a screenshot.

    Probably not a bad deal but may not bother for the sake of 3 free books (one per month for members)
    Apparently only about 108 free titles by the look of it.

      It's not just the free titles. You get three credits to buy any books (one per month). One can also listen to any of the freebie stuff on there.

          No, it's three books that even members have to purchase but can use their monthly credit to pay for. Not related to the Stream and download thousands of shows and titles from the Plus Catalog.

                @Borg: I know what the confusion is about - all the member free downloads aside, what I said isn't incorrect.
                3 months free membership -> members get to buy1 book a month with their 'credit' = 3 books.
                Just don't forget to cancel, unless you enjoy it and keep it going.

                I got a city library card and borrow box app works well foe e-books, but may try it out.

                  Cancelling = Yeah, being using thses for years now. Love the freebies or the $1 per month offers. I set a reminder to cancel once in month three.

    Protip - If you have books purchased on your Australian Audible account, and download them onto your app, they will still appear in your library when you login to your US Audible account.

      not sure if I'll get banned but after you download you can return the book for your credit and you just do it again
