    • Thanks, fixed it

  • Can i pay ato and doesnt that count as transaction?

  • I'm trying to open an Everyday account to get the reduced fee but when I clicked Send SMS Activation Code after entering all my details, nothing happens… I have had similar issues trying to open an account with Westpac. Anyone experienced this and know how to fix it?

  • St George denied me last time I tried on a minimum $6k, when I could get $20k on others.

  • Bank of Melbourne whilst trying to create a freedom account

Sorry, we seem to be experiencing problems
    Please try later again

    • I always try to register/create new accounts in incognito mode cos my adblocker can affect some of the scripts / elements on websites.

    • Get used to this.

  • Would it be best to sign up to St George transaction account and then sign up for the card to get the discounted first year?

Edit: Derp just read the full OP. Answer: Yes.

Why is the bank charging for the Qantas frequent flyer? Isn't it free from Qantas? If I'm already a member do I still need to pay $75 ?

    • +2

I think you're paying the fee for the Qantas Rewards Program with the bank, not membership to join Qantas FF

  • Application processing time is amazing- unlike its parent. Btw OP, the link is this post needs to be fixed- took me to Signature instead of Platinum
