They've been a popular tool at prices higher than this in the past. Looking at 3xcamels this seems to be the lowest price they go (apart from that one time for what seems like 10min).

I bought a pair one of the last times they were posted just on the back of how much other people rated them. Never thought I'd actually use them, until I had to removed a handrail from a shower that had cammed out screws on it. Drilled out the heads, pulled the rail off and with these pliers I was able to unscrew the remaining bits of the screws out of the tiles/wall quickly and easily.

Highly recommend them.

I imagine they'd go great for rounded/broken bolt heads as well.

            @offside: Don't assume "women",
            because male partners
can also refer to spouse, as "husband",
not that there's anything wrong with that.

        • Hobbyists or work or a mix?

          • +1

@WhyAmICommenting: mine will go into my sporting equipment maintenance box of tricks. The other will go into the garage, to be brought out in times of handyman or handywoman need.

  • Damn I had paid 43. But very usefull.

  • Got the raptors, gotta get these

  • I've always used vise grips locking pliers for removing broken screws etc but there are occasions when that doesnt work and the remnants have to be cut off with a recip or multitool, Are these going to hold on where vice grips don't?

    • The jaws on these are quite different to Vice Grips - namely they have a roundish opening at the front that will potentially give more purchase on something cylindrical. They are quite useful for tugging things out of other things!

  • These are super useful, definitely worth this great price

That last belt pouch for $13.66 is fantastic. I've got a 125mm pliers wrench and cobra in it, as well as a 110mm victorinox hunter knife, a pen and a small torch.

      • That's great to hear. It's a bit hard to judge from the pics

        • +1

First pouch is only for 100mm tools from memory, and i think it's a softer pure nylon pouch. Second one is for tools up to 150mm, and is has a more rigid plastic liner beneath the nylon so it keeps its shape really well.

    • The two-plier pouch comes up at $35.86 for me.

      • yeah was a short time deal

  • Do you do the wiring using a plier or a hand? for example, a switch off light line

  • Thanks OP. Finally decide to get one

  • Just logging in to say that these pliers are the best. Incredibly useful.

  • Thx OP. Got one in case I need it. Can't think of anything that requires this tool but I do remember the pain dealing with a stripped screw. Better off be prepared when it's at its lowest price.

  • Received 20/2 waaaay before estimated delivery date (1/3). Thanks again OP.
