Are these hard to swing in an enclosed space (i.e. an alleyway or inside a store in a shopping centre)? Asking for a friend, they need an alternative

Sometimes people can just be retarded to even post dumb questions

      • lighten up, a bit of harmless stupidity never hurt anyone. One of these axes though…!!

Just answer his question can he dindunuffin with this axe?

    • I'd go with the hatchet in that case

This is what you'd be after then, it's a little heavier than the X14 hatchet but it has the same reach, it can also be used as a mallet too.

    Are these legal in Victoria?

    • +11

The way VIC is going, even having a sharp tongue will soon be illegal.

If the way the UK has gone is anything to go by, Victoria isn't too far off that at all

  • Perfect for Friday 13 🩸

  • Anyone got the x36 and can comment?

    • This is what Fiskars says: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBsf6oPLEw8
FWIW I have the older X27 which is about the same length as the X36, and the old X25 which seems to be the same as the new X28. According to the guide above the X25/X28 is the right size for me, and in fact I found the X27 harder to use. (Haven't used either in a few years now.)
Online reviews usually say the longer one is better, but I suspect this might be a matter of how much skill you have.

Good deal! I have the Maul and the old long splitting axe, but the new splitting axes they have are a great mix between a splitter and a maul, sharp blade with a wider wedged head.
