Just be aware if you need a tax invoice it seems like Sydney Mobiles ebay store may not provide them - one comment in the feedback mentioned they were ghosted after asking for one - no response from customer service. They are supposedly providing Australian stock.

    Tempted to get one for my trip overseas.

    Gopros and a simple gimbal are so mich cheaper though, its tricky to justify.

      I have this and the dji action 4. Both are good but the pocket 3 is crazy smooth footage and is better for lower light situations. The action 4 is better for running situations or chest mount footage, and goes places where the pocket 3 can’t like underwater, snow, etc.

      If you’re set on an action cam though, get the action 4, because the gopro isn’t as good. JB are selling the action 4 for $459, which is much cheaper than the gopro.

      You won’t be dissapointed with either dji product.

        Yeah i already own the action1 and it does great in a cheap 3 axis gimbal.

        Size is tempting though…

          @MasterScythe: If you dont need the ruggedness of an action cam and don’t mind the price, get the pocket 3. I forgot to mention it has great tracking (not a gimmick) but you probably already knew that. It easily fits in your pocket. No faffing about with extra gimbals. If you do get it, I recommend getting the case below from amazon, because it protects the gimbal while its in your pocket and can easily to take on and off, unlike the original DJI case which is horrible.

  FYI, if you message D1store (Authorised DJI seller) they will beat the price.

  I've done it a few times. Message them with the items you want to buy and where you saw the discount price, they will email you back during business hours with a link to a cart with the discount applied. I've even successfully got a price beat on a 1 week old sale that ended from JB HiFi, linking them to the ozbargain site of the deal (10% off everything).

  But better to message them via the live chat they have. Make sure you ask to beat the price rather than price match. They usually add 1-5% more on top to beat it.

  Once you purchase you can email them back saying you want to pickup from one of their stores rather than ship it if you want to get it faster.

  Always better to purchase direct.

    Appreciate the tip. They matched the JB perks offer 10% perks on t creator combo and although they couldn't do a price beat, they gave me a 128gb SanDisk extreme micro SD.

        Yep, small discount. But they had it in stock (already shipped and expected delivery by end of day) compared to DigiDirect being a 2 week pre-order.

        Also the price matching experience was excellent. No mind games with the rep, just mentioned the previous JB perks sale and they sent an offer with no fuss.

          I'm a perks member but never received that offer, so I wonder if it was targeted.

    Cant compare, this is different. DJI Osmo Action 4 is the comparable device. And the price of that is cheaper than go pro. Go pro 12 is roughly 650, Dji osmo action 4 is 450. For the price, Dji is much better for mostly comparable if not better.

    The osmo pocket 3 is an all in 1 device, a hec of a camera on a gimbal device, with all the adding stuff like seperate mic etc. Go Pros "Creator pack" cost 950. And thats with the go pro 12.
