  Personally don't like the RP series, poor separation, lack of details.

  The vxt series on the other hand are awesome. Ive owned a RP5 and upgraded to the VXT4 and heard the rest of the range in the shop.

  You may want to look at getting at least the 10 inch KRK sub to go with those.
  It makes a huge difference, i got mine for $499 shipping included from ebay.

  Great deal! Best domestic price ive seen for the KRK RP8G2 monitors!

  If you don't mind the risk of having them sent via DHL express from the USA id still go the bundle here as you get 2 decent stands and XLR leads (can request to swap to TRS leads) http://www.sonicfiber.com/buy/krk/krk-rp8g2-studio-monitor-b… and for about $630aud delivered…

  Domestic stock is always easier for warranty and other problems though. :)

    This was a much better deal including xlr's,stands. When i asked for quote to freight to me they quoted 300USD on sonicfiber website and their ebay store.

      I just asked them for a quote on the hs80m +stand pack and they quoted $300 as well.. How did happysound get the rp8g2's delivered so cheaply? :(

        yeh, no idea… i guess they just upped their price realising it was costing them more… I think originally because they'd offered free domestic shipping they offered me a discounted international rate or something…

    They're studio monitors… used for producing and analyzing sound with much finer quality than average home stereos
