depends on what you value. Integration with apple ecosystem or if you have Android and want AptX adaptive to work. noise cancelling according to RTINGS is best on these and the sony earbuds, but comfort wise, these are best in the high end buds offerings.
Not an audiophile. But wow the sounds from these really hit me when i first listen (and still do).
That bass is so clean and feels so good.
Have these.. the sound quality is so good, however if you use this for a phone call in a busy place, its really bad. The caller can't hear your voice because it picked up the background noise.
How about this vs the QC 2 earbuds? I’ve just ordered it at $229. Can’t justify to pay $140 extra for the ultra after a couple of videos I watched on YouTube. With that being said I didn’t do other proper research.
I get connection issues with my QC2, which apparently the Ultras don't have.
It's pretty annoying, but not enough for me to upgrade.
Bose has pretty good support I find. Just let them know of the issue.
What sort of connection issue do you have?
Sometimes when i go to put them on, one bud won't connect, or sometimes both. I have to reset and set them up again.
From doing some research, it appears to be pretty common.
I can confirm microphone quality is poor with any background noise.
For that matter same for nearly all earbuds.
I’ve ended up using these for noise cancelling on flights. But have an earpiece with a boom mic for calls as I got so sick of not being heard when I go outside of my private office.
