NBN 25/5 Internet Plans below $50

NBN 25/5 Internet Plans Below $50

I know a lot of ISP offers 6 months special rates for below $50 (Tangerine, Flip Connect, Spintel (which I will never go again coz it's dead slow).

Just wondering if Ozbers know of any others so I can churn my way through it?

consider adding Optus to your rotation
    100/20 for $75/month
stay with them for 3 months and get 30,000 flybuys points ($150)
effectively $25/month for those 3 months
you can stay the 6 months if your prefer and it'll be $50/month

    • Do they do credit check ?

      • i don't recall

    • people reported difficulty getting those points?

      • have done it twice and even received the second one around 2 months in

  • if you dont mind being behind a CG-NAT,
    There's always 4G/5G home broadband.

You can try 4G home broadband from Felix, which seems to be 20/20
(Which i'd argue is better than 25/5)

    • Anyway to get non cg-nat on 4/5G?

    • felix don't allow 4g modems. which wifi router can tether 4g mobile to get around it?

    https://www.dodo.com/broadband-internet

Dodo's 100mbps plan can be had for $42.50 for the first month only.

If you need a provider to go to while looking for a longer term deal, this is an option.

If you provide the correct details, the churn should happen very quickly (i.e. a matter of hours, not days). I think they've automated most of their processes.

More importantly, the Ts&Cs at the bottom say:

New and returning internet customers only.

So you can keep going back after you've ported out of Dodo.

  • I'm currently on Flip 12/0.8 ($39) HFC. I reckon my flaky speed & intermittent outages are NBN Co issues, nothing to do with the retailer.
