MiiR 354ml Coffee Canister $26 + $9.95 Delivery ($0 with $99 Order) @ Rushfaster

140

50% off the MiiR coffee canister in white. With shipping it comes to ~$35 (to Melbourne at least).

Similar to the Airscape in that it displaces air from the canister, but keep in mind that some people find the sealing device a bit awkward to use and it might not be suitable if you have large hands.

What is this? Coffee storage for ants?

I have two 1.4l canisters which is just enough 1kg of beans.

      For 200-250g bags.
Nowadays I just stick with bags with one way valve, canisters take up too much space

    • Fair point, I did think some people would call out the size. Who knows, maybe it'd be useful for people who go caravanning or something, or people who like to have different beans on hand?

I'll probably wait for Amazon to do a deal on Tightpac Coffee container bundles. Works out a bit cheaper. We don't buy expensive coffee and don't have expensive machinery so it doesn't make sense to spend a heap on containers right now.

    Edit: Something like this

Thought it was a Wi-Fi AP from the thumbnail.

  • Airscape work well and aren't too big for the 7" variety (500g of beans).

  • I have one of these and found it almost unusable. The sealing mechanism is very stiff and awkward to activate and requires so much force it tilts the beans. You need to use two hands, one to hold the seal level while the other compresses it. The Airscapre cannisters work WAY better.
