Oh really. That sucks. I bought one for my daughter 2-3 years ago and it hasn't developed such issues. I have the second gen/magsafe one personally which I think is much better looking than this but cost me around $150 from memory.
Is this fast charge for watch 7+?
No
Does Qi work well with iPhones? Wife is after something thats wireless but I'm always hesitant due to heat etc affecting the battery too much…
Shame you cant change the orientation of the iPhone charger to use the Standby mode.
Mine developed a high pitched sound after a few months. Apparently it is a common issue with this model, fortunately I was able to get a refund (via Amazon).
It's a shame that it has this fault as it's otherwise a very functional and aesthetic charger.
