I was thinking of buying these earlier in the week cause my doggo's almost out of her favourite treat but I'm glad I waited. Other sizes on sale as well.

  • Don't seem too cheap, although my dogs do like these.

    • A hell of a lot cheaper than most places, especially with S&S

neg'd for providing a genuine warning and experience haha!

my dog experienced extreme abdo pain and had to get rushed to the vet.
we were lucky we noticed pretty quick and brought them.

dogs often swallow large pieces of these and those pieces don't sit well in the stomach.

You were downvoted because your warning contained zero information. Just told people to read for themselves. If you had written your second comment instead you would likely have been fine. Have some self awareness.

yeah, could have. but not my job/responsibility either.

but if you love your pets, you'd look into a comment like mine further to see if there was truth to it.

          • @ssjmark: Why bother commenting if you don't think it's your job/responsibility? Your attitude is really bizarre.

            • @ONEMariachi: not my job to go into it further and in detail in my original comment.

you could also see it from my point of view to see where it may have come from.

either way, I hope they've improved the product so that it doesn't happen as often any more.

comments like mine were in similar posts years ago.
neg away people. but know what I was only trying to shed light on real experience and distain for this product.

              • @ssjmark: That's fine if you think that, however it goes against the ethos of this community. I'm simply trying to explain to you why you would have a negative response to. "Read for yourself". With literally no other information provided. There was no point of view to see it from, you provided nothing. We're not mind readers.

This community is about active engagement and discussion. "Read for yourself" fundamentally goes against that idea.

Looking at the other posts (took 7 posts before I even found a comment referencing anything). Every time someone else mentioned it, they provided links and articles or a more in depth understanding of their situation. Hence positive reaction. Every time someone wrote what you did. Negative reaction.

Take that as you will. Your call to respond how ever it is you want to, but if you want to engage in a community, understand what that entails, and understand that people won't care about your opinion or experience if all it is is "Me bad experience, read for yourself"

personally I wouldn't buy these things myself, because at $1.30 a stick. I can go and get proper stuff from my local pet butcher.

    • Yeah you need to make sure your dogs chew these and not just swallow them in one go.

  • Regular breed dog? What are irregular breed dogs?

    • Pugs.

      • ..and Frenchies

I find the original version lacks flavour, the others are much better

      And what breed are you?

  • My dog goes nuts for this

  • Get some spines and ribs from your local butcher. Much better for their guts and will clean their teeth just as well.
