just chat with The Good Guys and they matched the price and applied $30 vouchers (supposed to be in store only but it's good to go). $168, great price for the phone.
    Thank you.

      @thaikhoa

how you get $30 voucher from?

    • Did they apply the voucher over the phone?

    • good idea mate, I followed the same path and scored 1 for myself for $171 including shipping.

    • Just did this following your path. $168 waiting for me in store, awesome.
      Thanks for tip.

  • Thx OP. Price beat in store at OW $188.10. Indigo blue on order, ETA tomorrow. (Only had midnight in stock). Cheers

We bought one a week ago for $250. Amazing phone for the money. Quicker than G84 but G84 has better screen

Picked it up for $168 at GG. With $30 GG voucher, might be targeted.

  • I bought one for my dad recently and it seemed like a snappy phone, with almost stock android, huge screen and even the camera was rather decent - though not excellent. So yeh, it's great at this price - probably a better deal than my $339 buggy pixel 6a that I got 6 months ago (albeit the cameras are not equivalent).

If everyone who buys iPhones instead bought this phone our economy would improve.

  • Same price @ JB Hifi, got it from jbhifi c&c

I only price matched with JB Hi-fi two days ago with Amazon at $224. After contacting JB they refunded me the $26 difference.

  • Got one 188.10$ OW Qld

Went to OW and the guy helping in-store scanned the bar code on the shelf and it showed $198. Went to the checkout counter with a different person and the box with phone scanned as $247. Asked for a price beat and got it for $188.10. I love OZBargain!!!

    Looks like OW price matched.

      & jb hifi as well

  • Office works updated price as I was on the phone. Damn it

Got GG to match the price over chat and was able to use the $30 voucher. Paid $168 online and will pick it up tomorrow.

    • is that the sms we got yesterday ? bonus leap something? it says on store only….

      • Leap year, IN store only. If you received the txt.

        • But poster above said paid online…

          • @CyberMurning: Maybe live chat didn't care as long as he had the voucher number, Give it ago nothing to lose.

      • +1

Yes I received an SMS with a $30 code, which stated that it was for in-store use only. However, I informed the chat agent about the code and shared it with them. They created a sale docket that included the code, and I received an SMS with a link to make the payment. An hour later, I received another SMS informing me that my order was ready for collection.

Maybe click-and-collect is still considered an in-store sale, which is why the code worked and also because it was through the chat option to a normal online order with click-and-collect. It wouldn't hurt to give it a shot."

  • Where can you find a case?

    • +1

There's a few on AliExpress along with some cheap tempered glass screen protectors

    • It comes with one on the phone

  • +2

this got beaten already…. down and down

  • Would this be on par with a Galaxy A71 or A52 5g? My power button literally died yesterday, so why spend $100 to fix when i could get this, i guess.

  • Is this phone VoLTE compatible? Doesn't show under network providers as VoLTE compatible.

Mobileciti has this at $189.05 with voucher MCFEB5 (just got an email) - see https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/833792

Or you can get it for 5 cents less, as it is listed at $199, and you can get $10 voucher by signing up to email newsletters.
Voucher arrives pretty fast IME. Note they only allow one voucher.

    Officeworks now $198

My view is anything rather than Harvey Norman.

    • Got office works to price match it and got it for 180 :)

  • 194 at gg. 164 with sms voucher. I dont need it but I am tempted .

  • Bought from TGG over the phone with price match earlier in the day ($198) applied the $30 voucher, and paid the rest ($168) in store with 10% off gift cards from woolies. Came to around $150!

    • I got the price match but no local stock so $203 with delivery. I got the 10% off gift cards then went in-store as it's near Woolworths, by then it dropped to $194. $30 voucher and 10%off $150 in gift cards + no delivery fee. I'm glad I went in-store.

GG won't apply coupon via chat. Inconsistent bastards

    • Call them

      • It was out of stock at my local store so I was hoping they would do it to save me making 2 trips. I located stock at a store about 20kms away so I just went there and purchased last night. They are so friendly in store. They can be pricks online because they don't have to look the customer in the eye.

    • Did for me after I persisted.

  • any heavy duty cases for this phone with built in screen protector?

    • +1

don't be fooled. The most heavy duty case you can get, is a flip case.

How tough is a "tough case" if there's no cover over the screen?

  • Amazon is price matching now but showing only one left in stock

  • For those that don't have a coupon for TGG (I'm still hoping to get one so I can use it with the Woolies gift card 🥹), shop back is 6% cashback +10% off with Westpac. Works out to be close to $30 off

  • I got the phone today. But I am not able to use the esim from lebara and amaysim, is this normal?

  • Is it just me or The Good Guys Online is coming up $299 instead of the G54 midnight blue instead of $194? The price changed when add to cart?

  • +4

For those who have Everyday Extra or can do a 30 day free trial, the G54 is even cheaper using the 10% off one shop every month, $179.10 delivered. https://www.bigw.com.au/product/motorola-g54-5g-midnight-blue/p/399978

  • I also use the $30 voucher in the good guys. I was about to buy from JB hi-fi before I read you guys mentioned the $30 voucher.

  • Amazon still has Indigo Blue at $199 if you guys need to price beat at OW
