      Yep same. Jumped on this.

  • Just picked up another one, my existing two have been superb. They hold their charge, genuine Samsung battery cells and fantastic heat thermal management

  • Absolutely king of Powerbanks in terms of Speed/Reliability/Overall Quality of product! Just have to bear the size and weight of it, which is natural as they don’t cut corners

I was on the lookout for this and managed to get one in Vietnam for 100aud delivered to my hotel in Hanoi. Rolled the dice as it may have been a fake.

    • There should be a scratchie to check if its fake if you still have the box.

Someone mentioned they aren’t producing these new any more?

    • +1

the company made this been gone for ages but the quality of these is pretty solid

      • Wait ZMI is gone?

        • +1

yeah they been gone for ages, but i believe many people in zmi went to establish another company

        • yep, they reformed into cuktech

      • Damn. Got 2 of the 65W PD ones. very solidly built. Great quality

        Shame about the company.

      • +1

They're still a subsidiary of Xiaomi and had merged with Cuktech in recent years. They're still doing r&d of these products.

  • ……and missed it Again for the seventh time at least……..

  • Hmmm, mine just arrived. Came so flat the LED display wouldn't even come on. Hope this isn't going to affect the cells.

    • Doesn't sound good if has been in that state for any length of time. Need to do a 5V capacity discharge test from full charge and if don't get near 14000mAh which is the stated "rated capacity" at 5V/6A, start shaking the cage. Might be some old stock or refurb????

      • snuh? can you point to a video or detailed documentation that shows how to do this?

I have some concern about my ZMI QB826 battery from Mostly Melbourne also… namely that upon receiving, I charged to full, I used it briefly but it discharged very quickly… it now however seems to be more 'normal' in holding power and discharging correctly but would love to test it out

  • There is the UGreen look alike which also has 21700 cells, it's $118 + $15 post to Qld at i-tech

  • I ordered one for the times when I need to work on-the-go.
Can I ask - if I only plan to use this once every 6 weeks for example, what’s the best way to handle it in terms of power bank health? Let it discharge naturally and then recharge to full a day before I need it, or just always keep it topped up?
    @SmoothCactus

    • Keep it charge to around 80%
