      I didn't know I had to update the firmware. confirming I'm having a bad few weeks.

        Chances are it's already updated. Mine was from more than 6 mths ago.

        One of the previous firmwares would degrade the disk quickly and end up in failure but it was resolved a whole back now. Chances are, you're already on a known good firmware. Doesn't hurt to check though.

      How? $62 cheaper then other sites and an unstable market. It is a saving, may not be the best saving we have seen but its still a saving.

      And most likely going to get worse. You don't have to buy Samsung, there are some other good reputable companies out there that are much cheaper!

        Go for the best with what your budget can afford - don't get caught up with speeds and crap that you won't even notice.
