Membership Rewards Ascent, Gateway or Business Ascent Membership

To receive 10% bonus Velocity Points, you must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Membership Rewards points from the American Express Membership Rewards Program to Velocity into Velocity Points in one transaction between 12:01am (AEST) 1 March 2024 and 11:59pm (AEST) 15 March 2024 (Promotion Period). The Primary Card Member must be enrolled in Membership Rewards Ascent, Gateway or Business Ascent Membership Rewards program (this offer excludes American Express New Zealand Card Members) and be a member of Velocity Frequent Flyer. A Member can redeem this bonus Points offer multiple times throughout the Promotion Period. The bonus Velocity Points will be calculated as 10% of the base number of Velocity Points you will receive when you transfer Membership Rewards points to Velocity Points each time you make a transfer during the Promotion Period.

Centurion Members, The Platinum Charge Card, Rewards Advantage Card and The Platinum Business Card

To receive 15% bonus Velocity Points, you must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Membership Rewards points from the American Express Membership Rewards Program to Velocity into Velocity Points in one transaction between 12:01am (AEST) 1 March 2024 and 11:59pm (AEST) 15 March 2024 (Promotion Period). The following American Express Charge Cards are eligible for 15% bonus Velocity Points: Centurion Members, The Platinum Charge Card, Rewards Advantage Card and The Platinum Business Card. The Primary Card Member must be enrolled in Premium Ascent Membership Rewards Program in order to receive the 15% bonus Velocity Points. A Card Member can redeem this bonus Points offer multiple times throughout the Promotion Period. The bonus Velocity Points will be calculated as 15% of the base number of Velocity Points you will receive when you transfer Membership Rewards points to Velocity Points each time you make a transfer during the Promotion Period.

    They did the 20% bonus till January, but haven't seen 30% in recent times.

  i signed up to the velocity platinum card last night and received 100k bonus points. the points havent transferred to velocity account yet. will i get this bonus if i manually transfer it over?

    You receive Velocity point not Amex rewards if you have Velocity Plat.

    When you get the Velocity Plat - you get velocity points and they transfer to your velocity account once a month. Usually around your statement end date.
