Costco Adelaide will be opening their doors to non-members for special evenings in March to raise funds and support the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.

For a minimum $5 donation, non-members can shop at Costco on Thursday 21, between 4pm and 8pm.

You can also enter our free raffle on the nights to win some amazing prizes!

Essentially an entry fee as you don’t really save that much compared to other places (if you plan your shops and only buy specials).

Costco membership should be viewed as an entry fee. The only consistent saving is on fuel (but you have to have paid membership for the priviledge 😁)

  • I heard that meat (like steaks) is good at Costco, is that true at all?

    • We get the mince when we can and we really enjoy it.
Not sure about too much else meat wise, but the blueberry muffins are good and so are the soup dumplings

    • Hi, The Lamb is trimmed and good quality, but isn't cheap.
Usually too large a quantity for my needs.

I usually buy a Roast Chicken before I leave. :+)

bet Costco will claim your donation as tax write-off

    • Hence why you shouldn’t “donate” to a corporate fundraising (eg. Round ups for charity).

You should donate in your own name rather than let big corporate virtue signal using your money.
