VINTAGE - Classic Vintage FROM $223.99

These ladies vintage bikes (steel frame) are really poor quality & even at this price they are not a bargain.
Many parts are steel including the handlebars, spokes & front cog which always rust.

Also they were posted for $199.99 last year so another reason why it's not a bargain.

Reid have always been true to themselves: they sold ultra low value bikes 10 years ago and they still do. Some OEM 20 year old components on their 'top' bikes.
If we compare apples to apples: Reid's Gravel https://www.reidcycles.com.au/products/granite-1-0-grey-grav… to a 99 bikes Pedal brand https://www.99bikes.com.au/pedal-raider-2-cyclocross-bike-na… - similar value and componentry.

It is good to try cycling to see if you actually like it and stick to it, but no good if you ride regularly.

  Seems we snagged the Reid Jaguar just in time. At $185 delivered, it's my bargain of 2023. That's saying something, as 2023 saw a Steeldive SD1970 too.

The company is a disaster.

There's plenty of nice bikes at your local bike store.

Steer clear of reid cycles.

Bought an Elite 105 11spd road bike for the zwift/trainer for under $800 today. Conti tyres, carbon fork. Only disappointment is FSA gossimer pro crankset. Could have opted for secondhand or Cycling Deal CD Blazer (Claris, including cranks c.$400). Time will tell if the Reid gamble was worth it. Bought knowing CS is N/A.
