How did you all go with Coinspot? These guys are terrible. 11pm and I want to transfer USDT to another exchange. A 2FA pops up, asking for a code, except I have not been told about this or enabled it. I'm confused (look at my SMSs/Emails) but realise it must be a Google authenticator thing. So I go into the app, turn 2FA on and then add it to Google Authenticator.
Still the transfer says pending. Wake up the next morning (today), and still it says pending after 9 hours. I go into the online chat, 'Yeah sometimes we need to call people when they are making a transfer, this is probably because it is your first one'. OK, so a lady calls me up. I ask her why do i need a phone call when sending money and her reply is that they dont do it all the time, sometimes it might be somebodys 4th transfer.
Whaaaaat? Crypto happens in an instant and I have to wait for a phone call to be able to move funds from the exchange.
Then they ask where are you sending the funds. I said it is none of their business. Then told them thanks for the $20 free bitcoin and I will be closing my account.

2FA is standard in crypto, you also need to confirm from the email link.
Also be careful when you buy some crypto, the mobile app makes it easy to just click the BUY button.
However you will be charged 1%. Click the Markets button and then buy from there. It is the same thing but only 0.1% fee. That's a big difference in cost.

It's such a thin market there, huge spreads, asking prices above the market rate. It's not ideal.
@Pulseless: also why significantly higher fees/spreads. if you want to trade alts highly recommend using a tier 1 exchange like binance or bybit. otherwise your experience will not be good. plenty of threads on reddit about people buying x altcoin, it goes up making them a 30% profit, but when they take profit on coinspot, they only receive 10% because of random fees/spreads.
