Any Logitech G Pro Wheel deals?

Hi all, I’m looking for a deal on this wheel. It’s taken some time to come to terms with the price but I think I’m ready to dust off the dollars and do it.

It’s been $1243.95 last year, but I’ve not seen anything like this price since.

Anyone have any tips or deals to wait for?

If spending that much, there are other options too. Are you set on Logitech?

    • Yeah pretty set on it. Using for PC and Gran Turismo. I like the plug and play of Logitech.

  • Consider 2nd hand? I feel like its an item people would offload all the time.

    • Relatively new model and at that price there wouldn't be much on the secondary market. You'll find heaps of g29s but not the DD stuff

    • I’d definitely go second hand but I haven’t seen anything on eBay recently. I haven’t tried Facebook marketplace tho.

Why wouldn't you get a fanatech instead of that thing at that price?

    • I’d use it for PS5 as well. I do like the plug and play of Logitech. I’m pretty set on this one.

      • Fanatec can allow both PC and PS5.. I use my Fanatec for PC, PS5 and XBOX

        • Which wheel base do you use?

It’s definitely the Fanatec or Logitech. I’ve had G wheels before and liked the quality. And plug and play, I know that’s being lazy but I just don’t have the time or patience anymore.

          • @Agileduck: I run the DD Pro

Example of kit is here: https://fanatec.com/au-en/racing-wheels-direct-drive-bases/r…

That kit will run on PC and PS5, plus comes with pedals. If you want a XBOX compatible system, then you'll need to get a new steering wheel.

Most fanatecs have a setting to default to the in-game tune, which reduces any flaffing around trying to get the correct setting. However, plug and play with wheels isn't always as easy as it sounds, as many games treat their wheel software differently.

            • @Porker: The Fanatec certainly has a great looking wheel!

  • I thought there’d be some sort of deals but there have been none. The best I can find at the moment is $1399 with an eBay code. Nothing like the deal I linked above.

This post is good timing, I've been looking into the exact same thing! From what I've researched, it appears the Logitech Pro is the best choice. I was set on the Fanatec DD GT Pro (which is needed for PlayStation), but there appears to be a few concerns surrounding the durability/quality of the system. Logitech seems to have a much better track record in this regard.

It seems you can only buy Fanatec through Fanatec as well, and the 3 pedal setup costs $1519 for the 5 Nm system, the 8 Nm being $1780. In comparison, you can purchase the combo Logitech Pro wheel (11 Nm) and pedals through Logitech themselves, and they give you a 15% discount, bringing the total to $1785. This makes the wheel itself $1275, pretty close to the previous deal you posted (if you also need pedals).

I've been on the lookout for a Logitech promo code to help make the purchase price even better, before committing.

That seems like about the best price around for now. I’m with you on buying into the Logitech quality/game support ecosystem. I like that the Pro has a compatibility mode too.

I was just after the wheel for now. I’ll be desk racing and planning to use the clutch paddles as accelerator/brake. Doing this isn’t as crazy as it seems, I had an old Thrustmaster wheel has accel/brake paddles with no pedals and it’s very useable, at least as good as pedals imho. I’ll be carrying it from the lounge to study between systems to.

Unfortunately the code won’t on just the wheel, maybe I’ll contact Logitech sales as the $1275 price is swallowable to me!!

      • I'm still looking for a deal on this wheel. The true force to me feels great and saves buying a bass shaker or similar.

If only I could find one around $1200.

        • Can you link me the $1200 one? That might do for me :)
