Pretty sure there's a fire ban in Melbourne for the next couple days, not sure this is appropriate.

I came here for the fireside chat

  • Will this charge my burner phone?

Even better - it will turn a phone into a burner phone

I know everyone is joking here but I bought a 35W one a while back from heymix.

highpitch whining noise, 1hr later a small pop sound. port had burnt, unfortunately killed my nice ugreen charger cable.

    absolutely avoid in all seriousness.

Yeah. I don’t really get why people keep posting this brand. I don’t care how cheap they are, from reading past comments I don’t see how anyone could consider it a bargain.

I’d even argue the mods should just flat out add the brand to the banned items list.

See below comment. Plenty of bad reviews in the sea of fake/bought/hijacked reviews to show its dodgy.

Heymix has plenty of ongoing evidence to show they don't care about products or customers - and honestly the majority of people don't care, which is why cheap junk from china is taking over.

Also, assuming someone is just spending their time to make up a story feels unlikely. Just jumping on the bandwagon perhaps? But still unlikely on ozb I'd say.

Have a look at the 1 star reviews on this one - two pics of the device in two pieces with mains voltage exposed.

    IMO, one to avoid.

I had minor issue (so far) with a HEYMIX charger. One of the USB charging ports stopped working after a few days of use, and the USB C port briefly cuts the power to the third USB port when I plug a device into it. Not a quality product.

  • just buy a zyron or something, the trash that heymix products are is pretty well documented at this point

  • I have one of these and it's worked rather well for the 3 or so months I've had it, the comments on here concern me but is everyone referring to a specific incident or two or are just something else going on?
