I have been waiting for this one since it's been released, but recently " According to Sonyalpharumors, the new Fujifilm camera has 50 times more preorders than the Sony A7cII and Sony A7cR combined." And now I am concerned. But that Fuji sucks vs this one, but I prefer to have builtin lens in compact body…. Still not sure.
Fuji x100vi is a hype camera for influencers. The Sony A7c ii is much better.
It’s just amazing how many better options there are out there at the price. This is one!
I like the X100…but the prices have been just nuts for what it is. Might settle a bit if they can finally meet the insane demand though.
I like the full frame and AF speed in the A7c much more than my Fuji cameras. However, i decided to stick with Fuji for the colour science and film simulation. Somehow, I can't get used to Sony colour and keep post processing the output. Nevertheless, A7c is an awesome camera. A7c ii is even better on paper.
I am a sony a7iii user and I can confirm it has wierd colors when bright colors appear on the screen. I was Nikon D610 shooter before this.
Yep, Sony cameras for the more professional work with post production, Fuji cameras for the more casual fun photography with less post production required.
I will for EOFY sale. hopefully this will drop to ~$2200

Moving from EOS R to this camera, love it so far!
I would argue Canon is still a better camera, but, can't compete w/Sony's small form factor for a FF.
Bought it from Georges Camera that has $150 cashback and can use AMEX w/o surcharge!
My same sentiment. IMHO Canon strengths are AF, better glasses and colours, Sony's strength is small form factor (both cameras and lenses).

I have a Lumix GH4 now.
I just recently bought the a7c ii and absolutely love it. Ex Canon 80d user here so the upgrade was significant for me. I was also looking into the a7iv so allow me to shed some findings from my research…
This is basically the same full frame sensor as the a7iv so image quality will be the same.
Pros of a7c ii
- better autofocus thanks to the newer AI processor
- notably smaller and lighter body which is better for travelPros of a7iv
- dual sd card slot (important if reliability is key eg you are professional event photographer)
- higher buffer capacity (important if you take lots of burst / action shots)
- better electronic view finderHope this helps!
I feel the ergo of the a7IV feels better with bigger/heavier lens.
Very subjective though.
Great camera that is way out of my price ranger.
