2x 1m USB A > MicroUSB Cables - US $1.05 from Meritline Inc. Free Shipping (Normally US $3.99)

MLCKQ31UNL1

Same ol' Meritline special but for US$1.05 for two cables with Free Shipping you can't really go wrong. They're cheapie generic cables but these seem to work better than other cheapie generic cables I've purchased on eBay for twice the price. Handy to have a few extra cables to keep at work or in the car or whatever. Obviously not as good as OEM cables BUT definitely worth the money. I've purchased loads of these and passed them onto friends & family and have only had minimal failures.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SELECT THE 2-PACK OPTION TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SPECIAL PRICE!! This code does not work for the single pack.

Use the same code to get the other Meritline favourite too, the Digital Probe Thermometer for US$2.59 instead of US$4.99: http://www.meritline.com/digital-thermometer-lcd-display---p…

Both deals = US$3.64 total.

Enjoy… but don't expect to get them any sooner than about 3-4 weeks OK!

Ordered a few times from meritline, rubbish quality, stay right away, they are often faulty after a few uses and start wecking your battery cycles as they get touchy.

    • just ordered mine hope they aren't faulty

just claim your money back via paypal.

      • yeah true, but for a buck or two, couldn't be bothered putting in all the effort to purchase and then seek a refund. Call me lazy, call me lacking the OzB spirit or whatever :)

Yes, the other thing I have found is that with some of these cheap cables the quality is so low that by the time the power reaches the phone the voltage has dropped somewhat. The cable quality is so poor/thin that the wire acts as a resistor, causing this voltage drop.

  • Thanks for $1 awesome

  • Thanks! This comes handy for me as I just lost one cable recently. I bought SATA cables from them before and the quality seems all right. Hope this is OK.

  • got OTG from them last time and working perfectly, thanks alot for this

  • Can someone explain the purpose of these cords? I have one lying around but I can't remember what it's used for.

    • Not 100%, but I'm reasonably sure that that cable would fit my Samsung smartphone.

      • Perhaps similarly with some cameras and other handheld electronics where you want to move files from or to your computer.
    • Also used to power a Raspberry Pi…

  • ^ phone/pocket wifi/tablet <-> computer

  • this is great i was just looking for the other 34583908823 i previously ordered. but have lost them somewhere. so this comes in handy. now for the 1~2week wait :D

*the quality is not that great. i have been through around 6. but for $1.05cent for 2 cables. im not complaining.

    • 6 cables ? what do you do with them exactly ????? I still have my iphone 3G cable for my 4S

      • I go through dozens & dozens of these… but not for myself, I hand them out either for free or for face value to the 500+ users I look after here at work. Again, they're not OEM brand quality however these particular Meritline cables (plus the super-short versions they also sell) have been far better than other cheapie Chinese cables I've purchased in the past. Problem is that I've noticed Meritline seem to change their stock so although the length is the same the type can change and I suppose the quality could change too. For $1.05 it's definitely worth the risk tho.

These cables are very low quality and will break after about 5 inserts.

All Micro USB Cables are NOT the same. For example you might get 1.6 or 1.5 instead of 2 because of the lower quality charging. It has also been said to affect battery charge cycles.

In other words - to charge a Galaxy Note II it will take 1 hour and 20 minutes longer to charge, will affect your battery in negative ways and will keep braking constantly.

      Precisely.

How would charging a battery more slowly affect its life negatively???? Are you also trying to claim that a USB charge for phones would be harmful to your phone compared to using it's adapter to charge it?

  • Bought as of 6.00 AM. For $1 will see how they goes, Thanks OP.

Bought these two last deal. They are shocking… Slightly wrong size, can vouch for lack of charging ability. Dont bother.
