Corporate model laptops have 3 year warranties. Some are onsite.
Lenovo Thinkpad has great CS. I just went through CS hell with Dell though (online support wasted hours of time in the most stupid ways imaginable, but once I got past them the local repair guy was great).
Macbook air.
I'm not an Apple fan, but these are very well designed, as long as you don't want touch screens.
Yes Windows is a better os, but the battery life is great on an mb. They are light, but grab a case.
