    • With a cheese grater

    • +2

Don't you mean your pole polished

  • +5

biggest served beers in Europe..? It's not even in the top 10.

    • +10

It is however in pole position

    • -8

Yeah but according to Poles POLAND NO1 at just about everything

      • Not really ..

      • +1

It's a good beer but surely not the best in Poland. It's not the greatest deal though. I buy these sometimes for ~$55 from a local Polish Deli.

    • +1

      Its 500mL.
They didn't say highest selling, just 'one of the biggest' (it'd have to be in the top big sizes) 'served beers' (also likely correct)

    • It's in my top 5 and up there with budvar,Augustiner helles, tegernseer, pilsener urquell….

      • +1

Man, I miss Pils Urquell. I like drinking a few different beer styles, but Urquell had been my everyday 'go to' for years. Dan's stopped selling it a while back now and I don't think it's being imported here anymore.

    Piss.

    Nice beer !

    • Moronic statement. You obviously know nothing about beer.

      • -3

lol yeah mate, i dont know nothing (obligatory /s)

    • Australia is a huge country. Where are you being served beer?

    • -4

Euro lagers are pretty bad. Budvar, stella, heineken, grolsch, etc
They are also comparable to tooheys new, vb, xxxx, carlton draught

You cant really compare the other beers like the trappists monks beers or german stuff like franziskaner, we simply dont have a history like it in australia being only a young country and craft beers dont count for nothing

Went to the restaurant last month and had a good meal and night - different atmosphere. Had a Tyskie-Zywiec-Tyskie medley with the T slightly better but not by much. They pack a punch in the big bottles.
Was surprised that Asahi was the owner.
Both are better than our local (foreign owned) mainstream beers.

    • Different as in..?

      • +1

        Homely… is the best word.
And you went up to a window in the restaurant which backed on to the rear of the bar and ordered your drinks.
        …Wow didn't realise there was a Quadrupel… will have to go back…

Beer in Australia is way too expensive.

    • +2

Absolutely it is… My favourite beer at the moment which we also stock in the bar is $198 a case and thats our wholesale price! De Molen Zoet & Zalig Apfelstrudel Quadruple 330ml.

      • I stick with Kozel nowdays. Good quality to price ratio :)

    • -6

Its not. It's actually cheap. You cant be getting thousand of dollars salaries and expect beer to cost pennies lmfao Specially with Australia's terrible drinking culture

    • +3

Brew yourself, costs me around 15 dollars for a 20 litre keg. Grab a cheap coopers kit during fathers day or Christmas from bigw when its 20 percent off, its come a long way and you can make some cracking beer very cheap these days

  • Expiry date?

    • June 2024

    "Something wrong Yank?"
"No, it's pretty big.. I guess."

I'm not Polish, but I'm not linking this anti-Polish shit here..
