  • I don't suppose will work with MVNOs except Boost?

      From other posts, Telstra and Boost only unless you get it unlocked. I believe Telstra would charge about $25 for this. Still really good value for a 5G phone after factoring in unlock costs.

  • Dual sim?

    Using this phone to type this
    Got an update a while back to Android 13.
    Runs most of what I need it to do just fine.

    Damn, legitimately an amazing deal. Some of my relatives from overseas have strange phones that are considered flagship in their country but don't have NFC. So it is crazy to me that this cheap barebones phone has 5G and NFC

    4gb ram

    You can live with it, but don't expect to run with it

  • If you only have $200 ish, willing to wait for sales & need a basic-phone, there are few-phone that can match G54's features & hence a worthy consideration.

    Starting-point & read-widely-> https://nanoreview.net/en/phone-compare/samsung-galaxy-a54-5…

    The phone-industry is full of paid-reviews & there aren't that many review of Vivo-Y55-5G, hence it's harder to make an informed-decision…why risk saving $30 ish ?
