      Yes, you can even mix it up with different types. You just need to spend at least $150, doesn't matter what cards you picked

          That still doesn't explain how they would benefit from that situation. You're still paying them whether you activate and use the gift card or not.

          I have purchased hundreds of gift cards over the years and never once lost once, take responsibility for your own purchases.

                @magic8ballgag: They do make a lot of money from unused gift cards and it is also a way to get customers through the door and make them spend on other things. Also store specific cards do increase brand loyalty hence we see this large industry of gift cards. Almost every retail business have gift cards that’s not a coincidence.

    I got the offer, putting in the code at checkout doesn't show any details about the $10 gift card, I assume just by applying the code you'll get sent the additional card?

      The terms say you must give it up to 3 days to send you the bonus $10. The system will accept your one-use coupon but there won't be a discount on the current purchase.

      From my experience the last time, they send you a generic swap card.

            @Bdawg: I'm not even sure how they keep track of customers, because card.gift doesn't have an option for you to create a user account.

            I would just use different name and different email address for each of your orders, if you want to claim different vouchers.

    I had a couple of emails with unique codes. Bought the swap gift card as per Hamza (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15064029/redir) and entered one code. Then redeemed the swap gift card for $150 WISH and entered the other code.

    See if I get both $10 codes for the one $150 outlay…

          Yeah it has worked in the past.

          I can use my Coles Prepaid MC for other purposes that don't get discounts (eg council rates).

          For the purpose of this promo, I'd rather get $20 bonus for spending $150 and use up only one Coles MC.

      Most are store cards. You also pay $4.95 extra for EFTPOS and MC type.

      So you can just get the swap card > wait for future promo on the prepaid cards (no fee) > swap to prepaid > ???? > profit

        When you activate the bonus card, you will have the gift card code, copy and save all the codes.
        Buy your new desired brand gift card of the total value and at the check-out stage, paste all the codes (same place where you put your promo code)
        It will reduce the cart value to the value of bonus cards you redeem.
