    unopened except to inspect

Unless you x-rayed it shouldn't it be opened for inspection/to check contents?

    • Thankyou for your note. Theses are definitely unopened, with the only one opened was the original that photos & testing were taken of. The wording in the listing was written incorrectly. Thankyou for bringing to our attention.

Is this better than the Dr Hyundai ones?

  • What is the accuracy on this thing?

    • $19.99

      • I think you misread my comment 😅 How accurate are the results of this medical device?

No, the other poster got it spot on. You get the accuracy you'd expect from a blood pressure monitor that costs $19.99.

I bought one about that cheap. It was accurate initially, but the unbelievable readings it started giving me indicated it had deteriorated after a period of time. So I bought another different model with at least a reputable name on it. I wasn't sure it was still giving me accurate readings, so I spent the money on a 3rd one that was the same brand as my GP uses. It gave me the same results as the 2nd one. The lesson was if its not cheap its probably good. If it is cheap it might be good or it might be crap, you can't be sure. With cheap stuff made in China you can't rely on what the manufacturer claims. Some of them do a really good job at a low price. Others just sell junk and lie.

If this product has an RRP of $50, its certainly not one of the real cheap ones. Its getting on towards the price range it could only justify if it was at least half-good.

Me, I find the wrist ones a lot easier to use than the ones that use an arm cuff.
