There is a two step process to get your free Whopper:

(1) If a West Coast Eagles or Adelaide Crows player kicks a goal from outside the 50 metre line during a home game, then you open the Hungry Jacks app and opt-in to receive the voucher when prompted.

(2) On the following Wednesday, you get a barcode in the app which you can redeem for a free Whopper (pick up only). If transacting through the Hungry Jack's app, a $1 minimum spend applies, but it should be free to show at the counter.

Reading the T&C states you have 3 hours from the time the goal is kicked to claim your prize.

some people with last year's deal were able to redeem in other states.

T&C links appear to be broken but the Whopper offer is still coming up from the main site under community

    Given how useless Simpson is at winning games (around 10% in recent years I believe), he may as well aim for this. He's purchased several HJs with the money the eagles have wasted on his poor performance.

      It should work every week. If it’s getting towards the end of the game and there hasn’t been a goal from outside 50 they tend to just call the next goal a whopper goal.

      Edit: every week one of these teams have a home game that is.

    Sadly "For your chance to claim a FREE Whopper, be at qualifying Adelaide Crows' home games this season! All you have to do is download and register on the Hungry Jack's App and enable location services before the game, then when an Adelaide Crows' player kicks a goal from outside 50m, claim your "Whopper Goal" voucher on the app when prompted. The voucher will be sent to you on the Wednesday following the game."

    Not sure why this hasn't got more upvotes, if you're like me and the gps doesn't work on your phone, use a fake gps app and set your location to be at the ground, works great.

      Yep I got a whopper when someone booted a goal from 40m just after the start of last quarter.

      Yeo booted that goal from close to 70m out..

          It was when Jaiden Hunt kicked a goal from actually about 30m. You can even hear the PA say about the free whopper just before the next bounce.
          Its a popup when you have the app open. You just gotta click yes I am in for the free whopper..

          Also you dont need to be at the ground. I live 20 mins away and it works

            @Roary: Interesting..I had the app open and location at ADL oval all game. Got nothing. There was no outside 50m goals ..but you said this wasn't either..

    just happened to check the hj app and shows a free whopper, i didn't think crows scored a 50m goal and i definitely didn't accept the voucher on the day

    Anyone in WA had success claiming the burger?
    Went to 2 stores and was denied. They either accused me of using it before or saying it's a screenshot. It's a bloody barcode, I have no idea why they think a screenshot somehow invalidates it. Either way it wasn't worth my time.

        i was in the drive thru. also app doesn't work without using data, and is rather unstable on my old phone, hence the screenshot.
        had the same hassles/accusations last year as well but usually the manager came over and managed to get it working. (once they also wanted to see photo id lol) this year it seems they're just flat out refusing to try.
