Strathfield Car Radio has some Studio Acoustics SA500W 4"2 Way 60W Indoor/ Outdoor Speakers for $139 and the same ones are selling NEW on Gumtree for $40. Old school speaker wire required thou.

I wonder why the Five rarely appears in the good sales? You can often get it for $799 but that’s hardly close to 22% discount. Unless I’m mistaken it’s the only Sonos that has line-in as an input, which makes it suitable for turntables. Perhaps that’s why it always stays at a high price?

    That seems to only do USB-C to 3.5mm audio which would require yet another adapter (likely powered, too) to go from a line input into a 3.5mm plug. At least with the Five you'd only have the single set of cables to work with which would be easier to manage and hide away.

      It's just a tiny adapter (3.5mm audio to USB-C), costs $35 from Sonos and it's hardly even noticeable. No power required.

        @Bal: It is directional so not any adapter will work, I'm pretty sure it has to be the Sonos adapter.
        and the link you provide is USB-C to 3.5mm audio not 3.5mm audio to USB-C

Sonos is also doing 20% off selected speakers. The discount is a little less, but if someone is new to the ecosystem and want to try them out, with an option to return within 100 days, you may want to consider purchasing from Sonos directly.
